F.S.M. Lyrics

Raid
Raid the whole room, clean the area
Have a last meal before I bury ya'
You paid to lose like the Feria
I made a truce with my hysteria
But it's a beautiful day, yeah
My feelings are mixed like Zendaya
Work on my dreams so I stay up
You settle down for a Layup
Apenas me den money yo te pago por los dos
Beef to the side like: Yo quiero mas arroz
Since George died, I've reawakened now mi voz
Hope is alive; si tu quieres vamonos
Si tu quieres vamonos?
I'm tired of IDKs (I don't knows)
Je suis off les week-ends et je party comme un boss
Je n'ai pas besoin d'une pause si estas lista, lista?
Triple-doubles-now en mi Insta, Insta
Young love
Why you always trying to find my old flaws?
I don't want to lose you so I
Back-up, back-up, back-up, back-up
If you can't mosh, you need to back-up (Get the f*ck out)
Straight from the block like Ibaka (Like Ibaka)
If you can't lead, you need to back-up
I'm a king, they gon' write history around my reign
They gon' try to take my blood, but go in vein
They gon' try to erase and put me in chains
Hold up
Mad cause you are living on my ancestors' dollar
You tan in the summer, but afraid of my color
Put me in a museum, but the paycheck smaller
We are no longer silent that's why Black Lives Matter
Run up, run up
Mothaf*cker you're whole fucking life is my come up
Your mind is frozen in time like coma
This only your denial period (Comma)
You never know the pain till' you walk the lane
So don't go around acting like you want the same change
When you shoot my brother with a f*cking bogus claim
You are part of the problem, all lives ain't the same
Young love
Why you always trying to find my old flaws?
I don't want to lose you so I
Back-up, back-up, back-up, back-up
If you can't mosh, you need to back-up (Get the f*ck out)
Straight from the block like Ibaka (Like Ibaka)
If you can't lead, you need to back-up
Why the world is burning on me?
I feel so lost, can't find a way
It's our time, are you ready? Are you ready?
RESET!
Bring it Back
With a little bit of love, we can make a lot of changes
With a little bit of love, we can make a lot of changes
With a little bit of love, we can make a lot of changes
With a little bit of love, we can make a lot of changes
With a little bit of love, we can make a lot of changes
With a little bit of love, we can make a lot of changes
With a little bit of love, we can make a lot of changes
With a little bit of love, we can make a lot of changes
Hey
Yeah
Feel the power! Feel the power!
Ay, ay
Something else is coming so save your mask
The truth is exposing your ugly past
Selected stories we learn in class
Rejecting homies out of the mass

We're taking over so pack up, pack up
Fuck out of my face, you need to back up

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to F.S.M.'s song "Reset" touch on various themes of personal growth, social change, and empowerment. The song starts with a sense of cleansing and starting anew, as the artist metaphorically raids the room, cleaning and clearing the space. The line "Have a last meal before I bury ya'" suggests leaving behind negative influences or past struggles and moving forward.

The lyrics also touch upon the concept of paying a price for failure, comparing it to losing money in a gambling game. The artist then mentions making peace with their inner turmoil or hysteria, symbolizing a breakthrough in personal growth and finding balance in their emotions. The reference to Zendaya adds a layer of emotional complexity, suggesting that their feelings are both mixed and beautiful.

The next section of the lyrics discusses ambition and dedication to one's dreams. The artist contrasts their own commitment to staying up and working on their aspirations with the idea of settling for an easy "layup" or a less challenging path. The mention of paying for both parties in a relationship emphasizes their dedication to supporting their partner.

The lyrics shift in focus to social issues, particularly the impact of George Floyd's death and the awakening of marginalized voices. The artist expresses hope for change and unity, asking if the listener wants to join in the fight for progress. The mention of being tired of "IDKs" may suggest frustration with ignorance or indifference.

The following part of the song addresses racial injustice and calls out hypocrisy. The artist challenges the person who benefits from the privileges of their ancestors' actions but still fears or discriminates against people of color. They highlight the disparity in payment between different racial groups and assert the importance of speaking out against systemic racism with the phrase "Black Lives Matter."

The artist then attacks those who try to take advantage of them, asserting their power and dominance. They declare their refusal to accept falsehoods or be caught in denial, using the metaphor of a coma to describe close-mindedness or stagnation. The line about walking the lane refers to experiencing and understanding the pain of discrimination, emphasizing the importance of empathy and genuine desire for change.

The chorus of the song addresses personal relationships and the fear of losing someone due to past flaws. The artist expresses a desire to protect the relationship and asks for support in the form of backing up each other.

The outro of the song reflects the urgency for change and the need to confront uncomfortable truths. The lyrics challenge the listener to confront their own biases and prejudices and to back up or step aside if they cannot actively contribute to progress. The repetition of "bring it back" suggests a call to revert to a place of love, understanding, and unity to make meaningful changes.

Overall, the lyrics to "Reset" convey a strong message of personal growth, social consciousness, and the importance of genuine empathy and solidarity in the face of injustice. The artist calls for taking action, challenging the status quo, and embracing the power to make positive changes.

I was wondering how to reset when using one hot encoding. Thank you!

@digitallogicprogramming2199

You need to use a preset instead of a reset on one of the Dflopflops. A preset does the same as a reset, but instead puts the Q to 1 instead of 0.
