So sad that the true gentleman of his fans and my Favorite Rock Legend is now gone. Fats was so appreciative of his fans. I had the honor of seeing him live three times over the years. I like the way he does not rush the tempo on the piano. His timing is just right. And the small amount of natural vibrato in his voice adds more soul to the entire song. He's the man! I was almost 10 when this song came out. I remember his records playing on my Grandpas Juke Box in his store which served hamburgers, French fries, cokes and Maple Leaf Ice Cream. That was in the 1950's.
