Asking for forgiveness from someone for not being aware of something.

I didn't know.
Admitting ignorance or unawareness of something.

Nothing is the way it used to be.
The current situation is not the same as it used to be in the past.

I've been here so long,
Been in this state for an extended period of time.

Trapped in monotony.
Stuck in a routine that makes everything seem repetitive and boring.

I've remained the same
Not evolved or changed while the rest of the world has.

While all of you have changed.
Everyone else has evolved, but not the person in question.

Leave me here
Asking to be left alone in their current state.

All alone.
Wishes to be isolated from the company of others.

It's where I should be.
The current state of isolation is the suitable state for them.

This is where I'm safe.
The isolation zone provides them with a sense of security.

I don't belong with you.
Feeling like they do not fit in with the rest of society.

A relic,
An outdated item, idea, or way of being.

I am not prepared for what's outside.
Does not feel ready to face the world beyond the isolated zone.

And leave me now,
Asking to be left alone permanently.

Or else I'll make the same mistakes that I have made before.

Not capable of helping someone else improve their situation.

Can never assist someone else in their journey through life, or provide them with any support.

I've learned to accept this.
Acknowledging that their limitations or shortcomings are beyond their control.

No longer remember or concern themselves with the problems of others.

Do not feel nostalgic or sentimental about anyone or anything.

I don't know you,
Do not have any knowledge of someone or something.

Not interested in learning more about someone or something.

If you're everything I've seen.
Have seen enough to form an opinion or make a judgment about someone or something.

You won't listen,
Unwillingness to hear advice, suggestions or feedback from others.

Or be forgiven,
Not deserving of redemption for their mistakes or past behavior.

Before you lose everything you are.
Will render themselves unrecognizable if they continue down the same path of behavior or mindset.

Don't you know that trust can't last forever?
Reminding someone that trust is finite and will deteriorate over time if broken repetitively.

You knew the end was coming soon.
The person already realized that the conclusion of something or someone was imminent.

You walked away from your forgiveness
Abandoned the opportunity or chance to seek redemption or forgiveness.

Just when your chance had come to prove to me
Had a chance to show or demonstrate their worth, but failed to do so.

That you could be something
Had the opportunity to showcase potential or capabilities, but failed to do so.
