Begin
Flex Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

My time is coming, I miss my senses
The only rule is not to be afraid
Come to me now, you need to know...
The true meaning of the end begins

I fight to follow
To find the calm
I know, it's hard to believe
But it is my wish
It's my will

I will remember, dear all
The time for us doesn't exist anymore
I will be everywhere, don't chain my skin
And now, the order of the end begins

I fight to follow
To find the calm
I know, it's hard to believe
But it is my wish
It's my will

I see you at midnight
You don't want to leave me in the dark

I'll be on the other side
When the light goes out

Overall Meaning

Begin by Flex is a song that seems to be about coming to terms with one's own mortality, facing the inevitability of death, and finding peace in the face of the unknown. The opening lines "My time is coming, I miss my senses" speaks to the idea that as we age and approach the end of our life, our physical and mental faculties can begin to diminish. However, the next line "The only rule is not to be afraid" offers a sense of acceptance and understanding that death is a natural part of life, and we should not be afraid of what is to come.

The chorus, "I fight to follow, to find the calm, I know it's hard to believe, but it is my wish, it's my will" seems to be about finding inner peace and acceptance in the face of death. The lines "I will remember, dear all, the time for us doesn't exist anymore" suggest that the singer will leave behind memories of their life, but ultimately time is fleeting and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. The repetition of "the order of the end begins" emphasizes the idea that death is an inevitable outcome.

The final lines "I see you at midnight, you don't want to leave me in the dark, I'll be on the other side when the light goes out" are a poignant reminder that death is not the end, and that loved ones may be reunited on the other side. Overall, Begin is a thoughtful and introspective song that speaks to the universal human experience of facing our own mortality.

I'm seeing so many cons driving with Flex lately. Here are some that I have noticed:

1) The app: the does not always giving the right instructions (especially at apartments) and you ended up having to call driver support a lot, which kills your time.

2) No route options, so there is no way on the app that you can put to not use tolls. Also, the times that is given is based on taking toll.

3) GAS! As of now, gas is very high and the amount of pay that they offer does not reflect those prices. I have a small car that has a 10 gallon tank, it cost 50 bucks to fill up. If you work 3 hours at $54, an you have to travel 50+ miles to get to your route, then it's not worth it at all.

I started Flex back in 2017, and have notice that the amount of packages that they give you per route have now gone up, almost to where you're going to driving fast and running just to make it on time, especially so you don't get paid any overtime. And you have to bring packages back, yes! They will ding you on it and your standings will go down.

Thanks for doing this and taking one for the team! 😂 Lot of good information, definitely not something I'll be pursuing because I can't lift heavy stuff and the idea of not knowing where I'm going is not adventurous at all!

Doober

Every package you’d have is no more than 50 pounds that’s the thing about flex warehouses everything is 50 lb or leas

I know I said in your first video that I wasn't going to go through Flex again, but this Sunday I was given a very impressive offer. It was another 4 hour shift starting from the Manassas, VA warehouse and the total amount was $112, or $28/hour. I decided to take it and went to the warehouse, and found out my route was in the Springfield/Alexandria/Lorton/Fort Belvoir area which surprised me considering that Amazon already has a warehouse in the Springfield area (which was where I did my first "Prime Now" block.) It was 39 packages, and for the most part it went very smoothly, with the exception of one package which I actually had to deliver to Fort Belvoir (an Army base.) There was a gate that had no guard and no access to elsewhere, so I had to call Amazon about it, expecting them to have me return the package to Springfield or call the customer. They did the latter but of course the customer didn't respond, so what they told me to do was to actually put the package INSIDE THE GATE and leave it there with a picture. Obviously I questioned about doing this and if it would affect my rating if the customer wasn't able to find it. I was told it wouldn't so I did what they asked. Thankfully the rest of the block was pretty smooth and I was done 20 minutes past my 7pm block end, but that was because of the Fort Belvoir issue. Also I did end up getting the full $112 on the next payout.
I'm starting to warm up on driving for Flex after my bad initial experience, but I made the following decisions afterwards: 1. I will not accept anything higher than 4 hours because the 39 packages I got this time completely filled up my car. And 2. I will only accept them if they are over $20/hour. Might hold back on Flex Now trips because considering I only got a $5 tip on the first block, I felt it wasn't worth the time nor the money, let alone that trip taking me through SW DC which I tend to avoid.

Faux Que

39 packages for $112? That's $2.87 per delivery. Ridiculous

You must take routes with the highest payout,3h $90+, 4h $110/$120, 5h $150+.
When you load your car you should section it, for example passenger seat is section 1, behind passenger seat is section 2, behind driver seat is section 3, trunk are section 4/5, depends what kind of car you drive.
This is how I arrange the packages in my car, in the packages use the last 4 digits example, 0000/1000 in section 1, 2000/3000 in section 2, 4000/5000 in section 3, 6000/7000 in section 4, 8000/9000 in section 5.
Always check in 15 minutes before you route starts and use 15 minutes to load your car no more than that cause time is money.
Not easy but is posible 😎👍🏼
