Heaven is Here
Florence the Machine Lyrics

Draw me a circle and I'll protect
Heaven is here if you want it
Oh, bring your boy, bring your bottle
Open your mouth, pour it down his neck
Heaven is here if you want it
I went to the water, drank every drop
I'll turn your sea to a desert
More catholic taste than the Devil
All gilded and golden, yes, I'm your girl
Hell, if it glitters, I'm going
And I ride in my red dress
And time stretches endless
With my gun in my hand
You know I always get my man
And every song I wrote became an escape rope
Tied around my neck to pull me up to Heaven
In the song "Heaven Is Here" by Florence + The Machine, lead singer Florence Welch delivers powerful and evocative lyrics that paint a vivid picture of a world where heaven and hell collide, intertwined with themes of desire, protection, and empowerment. The song opens with an invitation to bring elements of earthly indulgence - salt, cigarettes, circles, and protection - suggesting that heaven is attainable in the present moment, if one seeks it. This can be interpreted as a call to embrace the present and find moments of joy and fulfillment in the here and now, rather than looking towards a distant future for salvation.
The lyrics then delve into a scene of sensuality and recklessness, with references to bringing a boy, a bottle, and pouring liquid down his neck. This imagery evokes a sense of abandon and hedonism, reinforcing the idea that heaven can be found in moments of pleasure and liberation. The line "Heaven is here if you want it" becomes a mantra throughout the song, reminding the listener that paradise is within reach if they are willing to embrace it.
As the song progresses, Welch's vocals soar as she sings about transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary. The imagery of turning the sea into a desert is a metaphor for exerting control and dominance over one's surroundings, suggesting a sense of power and agency. The lyrics also touch upon themes of duality, with references to Catholic imagery and the Devil, hinting at a complex relationship between light and darkness, good and evil.
The chorus of the song showcases Welch's defiance and strength as she sings about riding in her red dress with a gun in hand, embodying a sense of fearlessness and determination. The lyrics suggest a sense of agency and independence, with the repeated imagery of seeking escape and ascension to heaven through the act of writing songs. Overall, "Heaven Is Here" conveys a message of embracing the present moment, finding solace and empowerment in self-expression, and transcending earthly limitations to reach a state of bliss and liberation.

Wow
That is the lyrics
So if he'll glitters
She is going there
If these are the lyrics most don't really hear them and it's meaning just see something artistic but don't really hear what she is saying
Which is pure evil!
Entertainment? Yes artist ic yes but very very dark and evil
Evil is real and it sounds like she so possessed
Why is that good? She has a soul but she knows only the power of darkness?
She is making going after supernatural power is good as if you can control them and they will not over take you?
She has chosen Lucifer the angel of light who will take with him to hell when she could choose not Catholic religion or religion of new age many ways to God but the Good good shepherd who lays down his life and sets the captives free
Jesus says come all who are weary and I will give you rest take My yoke upon you learn from Me because I am gentle and humble at heart and I will give you rest for your soul
Pray for her that she will find power that gives love and life and life eternal and RELATIONSHIP of Love
Jesus
Jesus loves her like no other because He says no man has a greater love than one who will lay down his life for another well He died for her too she doesn't know how much she is truly loved and she is blinded by power and short term glitters of music industry but it will leave her eternally thisty for His Great Love Lucifer or Jesus?
Who really loved you?

Ahhh yes my favorite kind of Florence & the Machine song, the kind where it sounds like sheβs casting a hex on your family. Obsessed with this
@foxypapi69
The story in the song came to me last night in a dream. It's a group of witches putting a curse on the town right before being hung. The sound effects bring the whole thing together, down to her last gasping breaths after the board floor gives out and she's hung.
