In 2000, a mash-up was produced, taking the music of Fragma's Toca Me and placing the vocals from Coco's I Need A Miracle over the top and renamed Toca's Miracle which gained further attention from DJs Pete Tong and Judge Jules. As Fragma and Coco were on the same record label at the time (Positiva), an official release was made, and went straight to number 1 in the UK charts, as well as in Australia and Ireland.
In 2001, an album was released; Toca, as well as two other singles; Everytime You Need Me (UK #3 hit), which featured vocals by Maria Rubia, and You Are Alive (UK #4 hit) with vocals by Damae.
2002 saw Dirk and Marco set up their own studio, called Evergreen-Terrace.
In 2002, Fragma were permanently operating with vocalist Damae, and have released a second album; Embrace, with hit singles such as Say That You're Here (UK #25 hit), Embrace Me, Man In The Moon and Time And Time Again.
Dirk and Marco are also currently working as a duo under their surname Duderstadt. So far two singles have been released under this name; Sunrise and Taking Over. A third single, Mahananda is expected to be released soon.
The latest release by Duderstadt is Smile, for which they worked with Anita Kelsey. Remixes were provided by the likes of Alex M.O.R.P.H. and Duende.
Radio Waves
Fragma Lyrics

There's no way back
But I still see you
In my system you begin to flow
In my system faces I used to know (to know.. to know..)
Radio waves
Through the empty miles
Through the losen hives
Radio waves
Keeps the flame alive
Guiding us through
Trying to get home
I'm searching through forgotten airspace
And through white noise
You reach out to me
In my system you begin to flow
In my system faces I used to know (to know.. to know..)
Radio waves
Through the empty miles
Radio waves
Through the losen hives
Radio waves
Keeps the flame alive
Guiding us through
Tryin to get home
The lyrics to "Radio Waves" by Fragma and Kirsty Hawkshaw are reflective of a longing to return to a familiar place or time. The singer describes being transported back to the past through "radio waves," a reference to the power of music to evoke memories and emotions. Despite being unable to physically go back to this place, the singer still senses a connection to it.
The mention of "my system" suggests that the connection the singer feels is more than just nostalgia. It is a visceral reaction, as though the place or time in question is part of their being. The line "faces I used to know" implies a sense of loss or separation from people or a community that were once important to the singer. The repetition of "to know" emphasizes the depth of this loss.
Overall, the lyrics suggest a yearning for connection, comfort, and home. The use of radio waves as a symbol for this longing adds meaning to the song beyond just its catchy beat and danceable rhythm.
