Maha-hiya
Give it to me one time now?
Wee-ell.
Whoa.
Wee-ell, now

Relax donβ€²t do it
When you want to go to it
Relax don't do it
When you want to come
Relax donβ€²t do it
When you want to suck it to it
Relax don't do it
When you want to come
When you want to come

Relax don't do it
When you want to to go to it
Relax donβ€²t do it
When you want to come
Relax donβ€²t do it
When you want to suck to it
Relax don't do it
When you want to come
Come oh oh oh

But shoot it in the right direction
Make making it your intention-ooh yeah
Live those dreams
Scheme those schemes
Got to hit me
Hit me
Hit me with your laser beams
Ow ow ow ow, laser beams

Relax, donβ€²t do it
Relax
When you want to come

Relax don't do it
When you want to go to it
Relax donβ€²t do it
When you want to come

Relax don't do it
When you want to suck to it
Relax donβ€²t do it (love)
When you want to come
When you want to come
When you want to come

Come-huh

Relax don't do it
When you want to go to it
Relax don't do it
Relax donβ€²t do it

When you want to suck to it
Relax donβ€²t do it

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Frankie Say's "Relax" are riddled with sexual innuendos as the song is an ode to hedonism and the pleasure of sexual activities. The singer implores listeners to take it easy and not be too eager when engaging in sexual activities, urging them to "relax." The chorus particularly emphasizes the need to take it slow, as rushing things can ruin the experience.

The lyrics further suggest that individuals should take charge of their desires and chase their dreams, making them a reality. The singer specifically encourages listeners to focus on their aspirations and strive towards achieving them, instead of getting caught up in their sexual desires. The line "Scheme those schemes" is particularly intriguing, as it suggests that individuals should have a plan for their lives and pursue them diligently.

Overall, "Relax" is a song that encourages people to pursue their desires but reminds them to take things slow and enjoy the moment. The lyrics suggest that individuals should be in charge of their lives and should take the necessary steps to achieve their dreams.

In communist Poland in the 1980s it was a hit on the state radio. Nobody understood the lyrics, but everyone liked the music very much.

And the video was released many times on public TV by Krzysztof Szewczyk (in the 80s), the program was called Videoteka or Jarmark (I don't remember exactly). I was more a bit than 10 years old and I loved it! :). Probably I also did not understand the sense but the song was great! ... from these years and this program I also remember Shakin Stevens, Limahl, Duran Duran, Wham, GM, Elton John....hehe.... eh those beutiful young times!....;)

The energy on the dance floor in the 80's was unbelievable. If you didn't leave the floor soaking wet...you did it all wrong.

@donwilson9939
