Born and raised in Southern California's San Fernando Valley, they've been creating music together since they met in high school. Their Californian brand of organic electronic songs are observed and enjoyed by fans the world over, as well as by other music figures such as:
Two Lone Swordsmen, Moby, Casino Versus Japan, Herrmann & Kleine, Opiate, Manual, Marumari, and Cerebral Sound Propagation.
Freescha is simply the recorded effort to uncover the sounds that reminds us that there are still things and places such as coast lines and hills, and moments not yet tampered by the dull excess of a music industry and it's incessant marketing psychosis.
Freescha was chosen as one of URB magazine's "Next 100" artists to watch for in their year-end special issue.

Can we please appreciate Freescha separately from BoC? They’re definitely in the same vein but they’ve each got their own really cool unique styles worth appreciating.

This has been going on forever! Back in 2005, BoC was about to release "The Campfire Headphase," but someone "leaked" the album early on file sharing sites. The "leak" turned out to be Freescha songs labeled as BoC :)
Nothing Is Real
@APoxOnNordStream True, but people have started comparing EVERYTHING to BoC, that is, everything that sounds slightly similar. Not that there's anything wrong with it but it's almost like they're removing some personality to the other artists (point in case Freescha), don't you think?

I would like to say that this beautiful music is achingly similar to Boards of Canada, and that there's nothing wrong with that.
Clumsy Prophet
No kidding. Thank you!

So fucking fresh!

Excellent track, one of Freescha's best. Some really positive vibes here.

i could totally see this as being music playing the the background of like a artsy montage or a intimate love scene
