The One That You Need
Friends Lyrics
I look at my hands, then you spin me around
"Are you okay?"
I'm living in fairy tales
Where life stays the same
Memories of my life seem to spin through my head
Why's this not okay?
We're living the real life now
And things always change
I'm scared and I'm hiding
The laws of attraction; subtraction ex part
Still, in short, I need you
I look at my hands, then I fall to the ground
"Aren't you okay?"
I'm ringing in badder days
But it's all gone my way
Memories of my life seem to spin 'til I'm dead
Why not be okay?
We're bringing the good times
But I've got no say
The clouds bring no action, though faster still
I'm scared and I'm hiding
The laws of attraction; subtraction ex part
Still, in short, I need you
The clouds bring no action, though faster still
I'm scared and I'm hiding
The laws of attraction; subtraction ex part
Still, in short, I need you

Thank you!
Sorry for this long reply. I was really surprised and impressed by the Swedish version that you recommended. In a bit of a shock! XD
.
So...
I had Youtube on in the background and for some reason Miss Algorithm decided I would enjoy Friends. I've never listened to Friends before and growing up I always disliked (hated) them. Very basic generic radio pop .
.
I had randomly scrolled down on this page when flickering between tabs, so coming across your comment was a complete fluke. Quite happy I did though!
.
Decided to give "Aldrig igen" a chance as the melody of "The one that you need" is quite catchy, but the lyrics are embarrassingly generic (basic).
.
"Aldrig igen" is still generic radio pop, but the lyrics are waaaay more honest.
.
== Here is a poor translation (by me) of the chorus ==
-----------------------------------------
Never again, will you be with me
But you are here within me, I still miss you
We had a thing that can be hard to understand, but
Never again will I see you, never again
We had a thing which was hard to understand
but never again will I see you, never again
Never again, will you be with me
But you are here within me I still miss you
We had a thing that can be hard to understand, but
Never again will I see you, never again
-----------------------------------------
== Compare that to this trash ==
-----------------------------------------
I'll be the one who'll stand by your side,
Wanna be there to hold you whenever you cry.
My comfort will guide you and make you believe
That I'll be the one that you need.
I'll be the one who'll stand by your side,
Wanna be there to hold you whenever you cry.
My comfort will guide you and make you believe
That I'll be the one that you need.

Robo's theme.
Laurelindo
Actually "Robo's Theme" was made for the video game "Chrono Trigger" as early as 1995. =P
ToxixKroteTV is talking about a small part of "Robo's Theme" that has the exactly same melody as the first few seconds of the chorus in "The One That You Need".
However, except for that particular part the general style of "Robo's Theme" very closely resembles the song "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley.
