Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Tales Of Kidd Funkadelic" by Funkadelic are quite simple but quite funky. The repetition of "hoy, hoy, hoy, hoy" creates a rhythmic chant that drives the song forward, while the phrase "a funky woman" is repeated over and over again, celebrating the power and allure of a woman who embodies the spirit of funk. The song seems to be an ode to the funk aesthetic and the way in which it inspires people to move, dance, and celebrate.

The repetitive nature of the lyrics, combined with the hypnotic groove of the music, creates an almost trance-like state for the listener, inviting them to get lost in the rhythm and lose themselves in the joy of being funky. While the lyrics don't contain much depth or complexity, they capture the essence of what funk music is all about- rhythm, groove, and the celebration of funkiness.

THIS IS THE SHIT!!!!  Funkadelic is mind-blowing.  They're music still sounds just as fresh, funky and hip today as ever.  In fact, I can't think of any modern stuff going on that can match the funky shit they were doing back in 1970!!  And, Eddie Hazel - damn, he was such a great guitar player - he was really intense!  It's too bad that most young'uns today don't even know who Hazel was. Between 1969 & 1975, Funkadelic put out their most intense, sensuous albums!

Redpill. Expand your thinking, what if they purposefully destroyed creativity? Why do all the good musicians want to play cover songs these days? The moar you know, HAHAHAHA!!!!!!
