She was born in the Jurunas neighborhood, on the outskirts of Belém, Gaby began her career as a singer at the Parish of Santa Teresinha do Menino Jesus, where she participated in the choir. She drew attention for her deep but soft voice, having been invited to perform in bars in the capital of Pará. She achieved great success in music from Pará with the Banda Tecno Show.
Known for her exuberance and her extravagant costumes - consisting of large earrings, 20cm high shoes with LED lights, colorful clothes, false eyelashes, hair extensions and colorful accessories -, she was one of those responsible for the emergence and diffusion of tecnobrega, rhythm that turned into a fever in the Northern Region of Brazil. She became known nationally after releasing the song "Hoje Eu Tô Solteira", a version of the song "Single Ladies", by the American singer Beyoncé. The success of the song earned Gaby the nickname "Beyoncé do Pará". Her second national hit, "Xirley", already has more than a million hits on YouTube.

Quando eu te conheci
Lá naquele app
Pensava que você seria meu amor
Vinha me salvar, tirar toda essa dor
Inconsequente eu me entreguei
Quando percebi doeu admitir
Você só fez mal pra mim
Como é que eu pude me arriscar
Jogando desse jeito
E me deixar manipular
Foi meu pior defeito
É hora de acordar
Não vou mais aceitar
Pois tudo que eu vivi
Me fez fortalecer
Sinto muito, não vou sofrer
Eu decidi te esquecer
Vou me recuperar
Pra poder te arrancar
Do meu peito baby
Decidi te esquecer
Vou me recuperar
Pra poder arrancar
Esse amor fake
Decidi te esquecer
Vou me recuperar
Pra poder arrancar
Esse amor fake
Do meu peito baby
Do meu peito
Do meu peito
Esse amor fake
Decidi te esquecer
Vou me recuperar
Pra poder arrancar
Esse amor fake
In the song "Amor Fake" by Gaby Amarantos, the lyrics portray a narrative of a deeply emotional and personal experience with love that turned out to be fake and harmful. The singer reflects on meeting someone through a mobile application and initially believing that this person would be their savior who could take away their pain. The singer expresses a sense of vulnerability and impulsiveness as they allowed themselves to become deeply involved with this person, even though signs of deception were present from the beginning.
As the story unfolds, the singer realizes the truth about the illusion of love they had fallen into, admitting the pain and harm that this person has caused. The lyrics suggest a sense of self-blame and regret for allowing themselves to be manipulated and misled by the counterfeit love offered by the other person. There is a realization that trusting blindly and ignoring the warning signs was a significant mistake, leading to a profound experience of hurt and betrayal.
The chorus of the song reflects a decisive turning point for the singer as they make a firm decision to let go of this fake love and prioritize their own healing and well-being. The repeated declaration of determination to forget the other person, recover from the emotional damage, and remove this toxic love from their heart indicates a newfound strength and clarity emerging from the painful experience. The act of choosing to move on and detach themselves from the harmful relationship signifies a powerful act of self-preservation and self-love.
In the final verses of the song, the singer emphasizes the intention to break free from the grip of this fabricated love, reinforcing their resolution to overcome the pain and disappointment. The repetition of the phrase "Esse amor fake" serves as a cathartic release, as the singer reaffirms their commitment to breaking away from the false emotions that once clouded their judgment. The closing lines convey a sense of empowerment and liberation as the singer declares their readiness to move forward and reclaim their emotional independence, ultimately emerging stronger and resilient from the ordeal of a love that turned out to be fake.
