He used to be Resident DJ for the Xenon nightclub from 1984 to 1990, and for the Valbonne nightclub from 1990 to 1993.
His first single 'Feel So Good/Life' was released the summer of '89 on Prophet Records, but it wasn't as big a success as Passion (released in the winter of '92) was.
Originally released in 1992 on Effective Records, the 12-inch single contained the original, instrumental version ("The Naked Mix") along with Darren Emerson's remix on the B-side (incidentally this was Emerson's first remix). The 1992 release was an immediate sensation in underground dance clubs, and eventually became a mid-charting hit on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 29.
"Passion" is notably one of the first songs to be referred to as "progressive house", utilizing a heavy bassline and a distinctive "piano-house" progression in its second half.
Since its original release, "Passion" has been officially and unofficially re-issued several times. A 1996 version featuring a newly-recorded vocal peaked at number six in the UK.
Additionally, the track is known for its 1996 "Do You Want It Right Now?" mix, which was a mash-up of the 1992 instrumental with the vocals of "Do You Want It Right Now?" by Degrees of Motion.
As of 2007, countless bootlegs have been released, consisting of remixes and other mash-ups. The track has appeared on an abundance of compilation albums and DJ-mix sets (both official and unofficial). Other producers who have mixed the song throughout the years include Junior Vasquez and DJ Chus.
In 1996 Mixmag magazine ranked the 1992 single number 33 on their list of the "50 Most Influential Records of All Time". In addition, Mixmag (and their readers) ranked "Passion" number 22 on Mixmag's list of "100 Best Dance Singles of All Time".
The track, in both its original and various bootleg forms, is still widely played in nightclubs to this day.

To find a man who loves me as I am
Never tried to change a single part of me
You're easy to love
With those qualities
And every day you teach me more and more
Inside me I'm all aglow
And every night you think of only me
You do all the things I like
I want your
Oh I want your soul
Do you want it right now
Or can I let go?
I want you so bad
Give me all you have
I can show you how
Do you want it right now
Right now Right Now Right Now
I got to know
I want to know
I got to know
Do you want it want it right now babe
Show you how if you want it right now
Do you want it want it right now babe
Got it here if you want it right now
Do you want it
Everyday
Do you want it
Everyday

I still can't get enough of this track and never will and so had to express it the best I can.
Gat Decor - Passion (Naked Mix)" is undoubtedly a seminal classic in the realm of house music, a track that defined an era and continues to resonate with audiences even today. Let's delve into its magic:
"Passion" by Gat Decor captures the very essence of what early '90s progressive house was about. From the hypnotic, looping melodies to the entrancing rhythms, itโs a masterclass in building atmosphere and tension. The track begins with an almost ethereal soundscape that gradually layers in elements, drawing the listener deeper into its sonic world.
When the bass kicks in, as you rightly pointed out, it's a transformative moment. That bassline, both deep and resonant, serves as the track's heartbeat. It's the kind of drop that, whether in a packed club or in the solitude of one's room, sends shivers down the spine and compels movement. For many, this is the moment of release, where the buildup meets its crescendo, and the music takes over, allowing listeners to lose themselves in its rhythmic embrace.
The title "Passion" couldn't be more fitting. The track ignites a passionate response, a surge of emotion that's hard to define but universally felt by those who've experienced its magic. It's more than just notes and beats; it's an emotional journey, a timeless piece that encapsulates the spirit of a movement.
In essence, "Passion (Naked Mix)" isn't just a song; it's an experience, a memory, and a testament to the power of music to evoke deep feelings and transport listeners to another place and time.
House music has a unique ability to speak to the soul, evoke memories, and unite people on the dance floor and beyond. Remember, as many enthusiasts say, "House is a feeling." ๐ถโค Piano sections in house music, especially in tracks like "Passion," often act as emotional crescendos that resonate deeply with listeners.
The piano's emotive keys paired with the rhythmic consistency of house beats can be a profound combination. It's no wonder that so many iconic house tracks incorporate the instrument. The warmth and richness of the piano can bring out feelings of nostalgia, happiness, and even introspection, enhancing the overall experience of a track.
