The Odd Engies...
It is believed that after valve abandoned their game upon their announcement of Half Life 3, hackers and exploiters have taken over the valve update network and screwing everything up.
They ported new models from Half Life and Re-Coded large parts of the game.
Players were forced to endure the 'Team Fortress Apocalypse' because if players were to abandon their games, they would be VAC banned for ever.
The reason players didn't give up was because of the ongoing sliver of hope that valve would stop these hackers...
It;s been 4 weeks now.
The worst update happened two weeks ago. The hackers called it 'The odd engie update'.They re-coded engies to have... unnatural models and large amounts of health.
They now stalk the players of tf2 through all corners of the server lists.
TC_Hydro is receiving a lot more traffic now because it's one of the very few maps safe from harm. But it's only a matter of time before they find those who cower in the shadows away from these menaces.
Those who choose to fight the hackers try to exploit their powers over the updating system.
They're trying to disguise themselves as the hackers and ask for overpowered weapons to help the struggle against the odd engies.
They've all been found and they're either turned into one of them or VAC banned.
