In summer 1993, Oriol Farré, Juanjo Muñoz, Natxo Tarrés and Roger Farré from Manresa, joined together to start a new band. They won an award with their first record "Gossos" (1994). After a few tours in Catalonia they edited their 2nd record "En privat" in 1996. Followed by "Mandala" (1997) and "Directament" (1998, recorded in the "Teatre Conservatori" of Manresa) with the collaboration of other consolidated members of the Catalan Rock like Cris Juanico, Gerard Quintana and Pemi Fortuny. In 2000 they recorded "De viaje", their only album in Castillian so far, followed by "Cares" (2001).
In 2002 they move away from their acoustical style to start using electric guitars and drums. Their latest albums recorded are "El Jardí del Temps" (2003), "8" (2005) and Oxygen (2007).

On poder anar
Gossos Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
enll
à d'aquesta foscor gelada,
buscant miralls de llum
que ens ajudin a lluitar.
La nit ens envolta
però no ens tomba,
jo i tu sabem que
hem de seguir caminant.
On poder anar,
si som aquí atrapats?
On podré arribar
si no em deixo endur pel vent?
A la llunyania
els somnis dibuixen
un futur ple de vida,
on la pau és possible.
Però aquí, sota els cels,
necessitem acció,
prou de contemplar
la trista realitat.
On poder anar,
si som aquí atrapats?
On podré arribar
si no em deixo endur pel vent?
La lluita és ara
i és la nostra llar,
no em deixis mai caure,
jo no et deixaré mai.
Sols hem vingut a les estrelles
però en portem la llum,
és hora de lluitar
per construir un món millor.
Gossos's song "On poder anar," or "Where can we go," reflects on the struggles of staying hopeful and fighting for a better future amidst a world shrouded in darkness and despair. The lyrics speak of searching for sources of light in a sea of darkness and needing action rather than simply observing the sad reality of the world. While acknowledging the tough realities, the song emphasizes the necessity of not giving up and fighting for a bright future.
