In 2002, "A.M. 180" was featured prominently in the British film 28 Days Later, and is also used as the title music for the BBC Four series Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe. The song has since been used on the television advert for Colin Murray's radio show on BBC Radio 1. Perhaps more bizarrely, the tune was also used in a trailer for Clifford the Big Red Dog when undergoing a run on CBeebies on the BBC in the UK.
The track also appears in the trailer for the movie Pussbucket by Lisa Hammer.
Also in 2007, "A.M. 180" was featured on the soundtrack of the independent film, FreeLance.
In 2008 the song was used in the commercial to introduce the Dodge Journey in North America.

Keep it the same
For fear I may lose you again
I know you won't
It's just that I am unorganized
And I want to find you when
Something good happens
We'll go to town
I haven't been there for years
But I'd be fine
Wasting our time
Not doing anything here
Just doing nothing
We'll sit for days
And talk about things
Important to us like whatever
We'll defuse bombs
Walk marathons
And take on whatever together
Whatever together
Whatever together
Whatever together
Whatever together
Whatever together
The opening line of the song, "Don't change your name, keep it the same," suggests that the singer is addressing someone very important in his life, perhaps a lover or a close friend. He insists that they should not change their name, as he is afraid that he may lose them again, implying that they might have been separated before. Though he knows they won't change their name, the singer admits that he is unorganized and wants to be able to find this person easily, especially when something good happens.
The second verse affirms the singer's companionship with this person, proposing that they head into town together, wasting their time with anything they want to do, even if it means nothing at all. They will sit for days and talk about things that are important to them, regardless of what it is. The last lines of the song, "Whatever together," is the perfect summarizing phrase for the entire relationship in focus. The singer is not worried about what they will do, where they will go or what will happen to them, they will take it on whatever it is together.
