Halford's first album "Resurrection" was included in Martin Popoff's "The Top 500 Heavy Metal Albums of All Time". As well, the songs "Silent Screams" and the title-track "Resurrection" were included in Popoff's list. The track "The One You Love to Hate" included guest vocalist Bruce Dickinson, from Iron Maiden.
In 2002, Halford released the second studio album "Crucible", although no live recordings have been officially released to promote this album. A high-quality soundboard bootleg titled "Live - From the Disney House of Blues" was made available for download along with a special DEP at Robhalford.com in 2004. Halford released bonus tracks in Japan, such as "She", "Fugitive", "Rock the World Forever" and "In the Morning".
On November, 2006, Halford released a single set from the Halford IV album, titled "Forgotten Generation." The first wave of Halford releases included remastered editions of his solo band's back catalogue and initially releasing them through Apple's online iTunes Store. Fight also celebrated a release, an early recording entitled "K5- War of Words Demos," which were the demos that Rob Halford had recorded back when Fight had first formed. Lastly, a compilation was included, called "Metal God Essentials, Vol. 1," which not only had the fans' favorite Halford tunes, but also had new songs called "Forgotten Generation" and "Drop Out."
Rob Halford's third solo record, entitled "Halford III - Winter Songs", was released worldwide through all retailers on November 3, 2009. The record features new tracks recorded by his solo band between 2008–2009, as well as traditional Christmas songs re-arranged to heavy metal renditions by Halford himself. The first single, "Get Into the Spirit" was released to radios on September 29, 2009.
On June 25, 2010, Halford released the first single, "The Mower", from his fourth solo studio album, "Halford IV - Made Of Metal", which was released in October 2010.

I Know We Stand A Chance
Halford Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You know I'll never get enough
Everything you do to me
Always sets me free
In me in you
I know we stand a chance
This time could be
I find myself in you
And I can't let you go
In me in you
When you're far away from me
All I have's uncertainty
Bring me back with what you give
You know you make me live
In me in you
I know we stand a chance
This time could be
Could be our last romance
I find myself in you
And I can't let you go
When you get inside my head
I forget the things you said
All that's is just a dream
All I do is scream
In me in you
I knew we'd stand a chance
This time could be
Could be our last romance
I find myself in you
And I can't let you go
In me in you
The opening verse of Halford's "I Know We Stand A Chance" describes a sense of surrender, almost as if the singer has been rendered powerless by their lover's touch. This is emphasized by the use of the word "tranquilized" which connotes a feeling of being sedated or subdued. Despite this loss of control, the singer ultimately seems to revel in the experience, which they describe as setting them free. This feeling of liberation is echoed throughout the song, with Halford drawing a connection between being alongside his lover and being able to live without hesitation or reservation.
The chorus reflects this sense of possibility, with Halford and his lover at the center of their own romantic reality. Here, he sings, "In me in you, I know we stand a chance/This time could be, could be our last romance." The idea of this relationship as a "last romance" seems initially foreboding, but Halford refuses to be confined by this limitation. Instead, he sees hope in his connection to his lover and believes that they can make it work.
Throughout the song, Halford hints at the possibility of distance and loss, but remains committed to his lover. He sings, "When you're far away from me/All I have's uncertainty/Bring me back with what you give/You know you make me live." The implication here is that even when his lover is absent, Halford is sustained by the memory of her touch and the certainty of her love.
Overall, "I Know We Stand a Chance" is a song that celebrates the transformative power of love. Despite the risks and uncertainties that come with any relationship, Halford remains convinced that his connection with his lover is worth fighting for.
