The producers of the "Boogie Nights" movie starring Mark Wahlberg tried so hard to use this song as the movie's title track. But Heatwave refused countless times, saying this song is all about dancing, and not about pornography. They did not want this song to be associated with porn in any such way! And Heatwave was right to do so, for we wouldn't want this classic to be remembered for porn either. You heard what the chorus says. "Got to keep on dancing, keep on dancing!"
