Heir Lyrics

The lyrics of Heir's song "Reunion" deal with themes of love, loss, and regret. The first two lines speak of being intoxicated by love and losing oneself in it completely. The next two lines talk about the criticisms that people have faced for falling in love and how these criticisms have made them more open to the idea of being vulnerable.
The last two lines of the verse speak specifically about the pain felt by those who are in love, using the metaphor of a red flower and a cup of wine. The image of the flower represents the beauty and fragility of love, while the cup of wine represents the intoxicating effect of being in love.
The chorus of the song expresses the pain and longing felt by the singer in the aftermath of a failed relationship. The lyrics speak of a reunion that never happened and the disappointment of realizing that the love they once shared is now lost forever.
