La Barca De Oro
Helmut Lotti Lyrics

La barca de oro que debe soncucirme,
Yo ya me voy.
Yo ya me voy slo vengo a despedirme
Adis mujer, adis para sempre adis.
No volveran tus ojos a mirarme
Ni tus oidos escucharn mi canto.
Adis mujer, adis para siempre adis
The lyrics to Helmut Lotti's song La Barca De Oro speak about leaving a person and preparing to take a journey on a golden boat. The singer has clearly made up their mind to leave and says goodbye to their love, bidding farewell forever. The phrase "La barca de oro" literally translates to "the golden boat". The singer is resigned to the fact that the person they are leaving will never look upon them again nor be able to hear their voice. They are preparing to embark on a journey, away from this relationship they had been involved in.
It is clear that the intentions of the singer's decision to leave are not defined in the lyrics. The reason for leaving remains unspecified, leaving room for interpretation. The song portrays a narrator who is prepared to cut all ties and set out on a journey with no particular destination in mind. The lyrics speak to the pain and heartbreak associated with leaving somebody that one may have loved or cared for in the past. The soulfulness of Lotti's voice and the melody of the music bring out the emotions conveyed in the song.
