los muchachos peronistas
todos unidos triunfaremos
y como siempre daremos
un grito de corazón
viva peron, viva peron
por ese gran argentino
que se supo conquistar
combatiendo al capital
peron, peron, que grande sos
mi general cuanto vales
peron, peron, gran conductor
peron, peron, gran conductor
sos el primer trabajador
Imitemos el ejemplo de ese varón argentino
y siguiendo su camino
gritemos de corazón, viva peron, viva peron
porque esa argentina grande
con que San Martín soñó
es la realidad efectiva
le debemos a peron
peron, peron, que grande sos
mi general cuanto vales
peron, peron, gran conductor
sos el primer trabajador
The first line in Hugo Del Carril's Los Muchachos Peronistas is an instrumental, setting the tone for what's about to come. The opening lyrics are a rallying cry for the Peronist Youth, a political movement founded in Argentina in the 1940s by General Juan Domingo Perón. The song speaks to the unity that comes with the ideals and principles of Peronism, stating that the youth will triumph through their shared beliefs.
Throughout the song, there is an emphasis on the figure of Juan Domingo Perón, referred to as "mi general," or "my general." The lyrics highlight how he was able to conquer the hearts and minds of the people, combat the power of the capital, and establish social principles that united the country. His status as a champion of the people is only strengthened by being identified as "el primer trabajador," or "the first worker." The song encourages listeners to follow in his footsteps and continue his legacy of social justice, equality, and love.
Overall, Los Muchachos Peronistas is a tribute to the powerful figure of Juan Domingo Perón and the lasting impact of the Peronist movement in Argentina. It inspires youth to follow in these ideals and continue fighting for social justice and equality.
