2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

For me to be feeling this way
I'm going out of my mind
And there's no change from my runaway love
Is it a dream (Is it a dream)
That I'm throwing in the wishing well
I'm losin' control
Standin' here waiting for a train that may never come
I saw the signs
I'd read the book
I should have had a second look
But, boy you caught me dreamin'
And there were times you'd come around
And we'd agree just to be friends
Tell me who was foolin' who
[Chorus]
Deep waters, I'm drownin' in
Deep waters, slowly drownin' in deeper
Deep waters, I'm drownin' in
Deep waters, slowly drownin' in deeper
What do I say, what can I say
Where words have failed me before
What do I do, when I'm feeling so blue
And there's no place, for me to run and hide
I saw the sun inside your smile
And wished for more than just a while
Cause, boy you caught me dreaming
A giant step into the dark
We threw caution to the wind
Tell me who was fooling who
[Chorus]
(I'm drownin')
(Deeper, deeper, deeper)
(I'm drownin' in deeper)
Oh, I saw the signs
I read the book
I should have had a second look
'cause, boy you caught me dreamin'
And there were times you'd come around
And we'd agree just to be friends
Tell me who was fooling, fooling who
[Chorus]
The song Deep Waters by Incognito is a story of a woman who is hopelessly in love and feeling lost. She questions whether it is wrong for her to feel this intense, questioning her own emotions as she feels she is slowly losing her mind. There are indications that she has seen the warning signs and read the situation wrong before, yet she remained caught up in her feelings, longing for something that could never be. She describes how she threw caution to the wind and made a giant step into the unknown, which only lead her down deeper into the waters of despair.
The chorus repeats the words "deep waters" which symbolizes the overwhelming emotions that the singer is feeling. The repetition of the phrase emphasizes the depth of the feeling and how she is slowly sinking into it. The bridge is a desperate plea of helplessness. She realizes she is in too deep, and there are no words to express how she feels. She is feeling blue and wants to run and hide, but she knows there is no escape. The song ends with the same questions it began with, indicating the cycle of the unravelling situation and the singer's inability to make sense of what is happening.
