2. Not only this Smooth Jazz band shares same band name, they have a song called "Millenium"(2006) that is exactly same title (intentionally misspelled) as the other Incognito's (Jazz Funk) song on their album "100° and Rising"(1995), plus the logo resembles in font. The title "Every Day"(2006) on the album Street Smarts exactly alike in titles (when read) with the other Incognito's famous tune "Everyday"(1995). They are often tagged totec radio. Also mis-tagged by fans as bluey where there's no link to Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick himself. r00ts & t4lk1n l0ud tags also used, that could mislead fans to the Bluey's famous tunes like "Roots" & "Talkin' Loud".

Labour Of Love
Incognito Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Understand, you have never known a love like this
A love like this before
A love like this before
Promises, I know that they come knockin' at your door
But it's me who stays, true to every word and more than this
I can give you more
[Chorus]
You're living on the run, tell me baby, when will it all stop
I'm waiting for the chance I wanna give you, everything I got
Slow down take it easy, all you've got to do is reach out for me
We can work and make it
A labor of love
I'm a man, I know that you've been hurt by one and more
Understand, you have never known a love like this
A love like this before
A love like this before
[Chorus]
(Reach our for me)
A labor of love
(Reach our for me)
A labor of love
(Reach our for me)
A labor of love
(Reach our for me)
[Chorus]
Stop think it over, where I'm coming from
I'm not here to fool anybody, please don't get me wrong
Slow down take it easy, all you've got to do is reach out for me
We can work and make it
A labor of love
The lyrics to Incognito's "Labour of Love" are a plea from the male singer to a woman who has been hurt by previous relationships. He is telling her that he understands her pain, but that she has never experienced a love like the one he is offering her. He promises to stay true to his word and give her everything he has. The chorus emphasizes the idea that the woman has been running from love and that the singer is waiting for his chance to show her what he can offer. He urges her to slow down and take a chance on him because they can make their love a labor of love.
The message behind these lyrics is powerful and universal. Many people have been hurt in past relationships and are hesitant to open themselves up to love again. The singer is offering reassurance and comfort, assuring the woman that he will not hurt her like others have in the past. He believes that their love can be meaningful and rewarding, but it will take effort and commitment on both of their parts. The labor of love is an expression of the idea that love takes work, but that the rewards are worth it.
Overall, "Labour of Love" is a hopeful and optimistic song about the power of love. It is a reminder that even when we have been hurt in the past, there is always the possibility of finding love again if we are willing to take a chance and put in the effort.
