But you are right, typically some horrific event follows a particularly happy one. I think it's to keep the energy up, wouldn't be much of a plot if everyone was happy all the time, would it?

It's primarily known as a Northumbrian Pipes tune, without words - hence the very fast-paced rhythm. Amery is a Northumbrian dialect word for a large cupboard or pantry.

The Scotch and Irish and the poor of the english were told You are now a salor on the the Kings navy, Given no choice in the matter they were forced on the ships and made to serve on the ships as such. Its only through history we know this. The music is a natural, it served as a need to make work easyer and lighter and a rememberence of home and loved ones left behind.

Cuckold Come out of the Amrey. The title basically describes; a husband leaping from a closet to surprise his wife and her lover. Cuckold=Husband, Armrey or Amrey describes a piece of furniture that took the place of a closet, ie. an armoury. The language is the northeast of England.
