When I first heard this track, I did'nt like the piano melody at all (but I have no better idea, so ...). But after listening to it again and again, I discovered many absolutely breathtaking elements and I now find the piano meldoy very fitting and Lux Imperia is by far my favorite track of the album!
BUT, I have a minor and a major issue with this track and this really annoys me. So for everyone who has no issues with this track, STOP reading now! Because what has been heard cannot be un-heard! This is for Ivan only, so seriously, STOP READING or else this might destroy the experience for you!
To the point:
The minor issue can be heard very clearly at 2:03 and 2:06, which is that the piano sound is very dirty!
The major issue comes close after that (again, stop reading, seriously!!) at the transition between 2:10 and 2:11: This is (for me) just before the most awesome moment in the whole track and I love how you intensify this moment even further in the upcoming seconds. But during the mentioned transition time, the piano melody kinda goes crazy, which must be a mistake, because it doesn't fit to anything! I overheard this for a long time, but since I recognized this, I hear it every time and it completely destroys this awesome moment for me ...
So please, Ivan, take this as constructive feedback (and please give me a fixed version :D). Love your work!
