(1) IVY is a New York City band comprised of a trio of musicians - Adam Schlesinger, Dominique Durand and Andy Chase.
Formed in 1990, IVY gained wider recognition in 2003/2004 for their song "Worry About You" which has been used as the theme song of the Stephen King series Kingdom Hospital and in the pilot episode of the television mini-series The 4400.
IVY produced the score for the movie Shallow Hal (2001) and their song "Edge of the Ocean" was used in the movie. Their music has been featured in other movies, including There's Something About Mary, Orange County and television series, including an episode of Roswell and the song "Worry About You" was used as the themesong for Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital. In 2005, "Edge of the Ocean" was also used on Grey's Anatomy on the episode called, "Shake Your Groove Thing". "Edge of the Ocean" has also been featured twice on the UPN series Veronica Mars, in episodes Meet John Smith and Rat Saw God; and in the trailer for the movie "Before Sunset". The song "Nothing but the sky" was also used on the final episode of a TV series named "LAX".
Schlesinger is also in the band Fountains of Wayne.
(2) Ivy was an indie pop band signed to Sarah Records.
(3) Ivy (아이비) (born 박은혜 (Park Eunhye), November 7, 1983) is a Korean pop singer who debuted in 2005 with the album Vol. 1 - My Sweet and Free Day. Although she has a strong voice, the record company chose the "sexy" route by releasing "오늘밤 일 (What Happened Tonight) as her first single. Since the song was about her cheating on her boyfriend with a one night stand, it was accompanied by a suggestive video. The official second single "A ha.." continued this sexy style, and it was popular enough to be parodied by female comedienne Park Kyung Rim; however, her record company also released "바본가봐" (I Am A Fool), a ballad that gave Ivy a reprieve from her sexy image and a chance showcasing her powerful voice. This song was mostly promoted on the MBC music show Music Camp, known for its "live performances only" policy; "A ha.." was performed on the other shows. The album was not a breakout hit, but consistent sales allowed it to place 48th for the year[1], thanks due to the popularity of her singles and heavy promotion on the various music shows. Although inactive for most of 2006, she has collaborated with Shinhwa for their album State Of The Art on the track "Highway Star".
She has been educated at Dongdeok Women's University.
On February 14, 2007, Ivy's second album, Vol. 2 - A Sweet Moment, was released.
Her first leading title, "유혹의 소나타 (Sonata of Temptation)," caused immense controversy after its PV was supposedly "recreating" a fight scene between Tifa and Loz from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, apparently without the proper consent from Square Enix. The music video features a disclaimer stating that the scene is a recreation, but there is was no official information on whether or not this was properly cleared.
(4) Ivy is a dancehall/ragga brazilian singer whose site can be found at www.myspace.com/ivy7velas
(5) a slam francophone poet from Canada
(6) Ivy is the composer of a number of piano compositions and mood poems as well as several songs in the visual novel "May Sky"(Gogatsu no Sora in Japanese). http://www.muzie.ne.jp/artist/a030605/
(8) IVY comes to life in 2019 as the new project of Rita Sampaio. Her debut album Over and Out, can be described as autobiographical and extremely intimate.
IVY’s music is dark, introspective and intimate. Closed inside a world that not even herself can reach anymore, as a representation of a cycle that’s now closed, life in movement and transformation.

The lyrics of Ivy's song "Good Man" describe a woman's complex feelings towards a man who is no longer in her life. The first verse talks about how the man's face looks like it has suffered a lot, which makes the woman feel a sense of discomfort. However, she acknowledges that he was the only person who understood her world and made her smile. She feels grateful towards him for that.
The second verse seems to suggest that the man may have moved on and has found a new group of friends. This makes the woman feel abandoned and lonely. She says that even if the man were to smile at her, it wouldn't change the fact that she spent a night longing to see him. She is resigned to the fact that she will always be alone and only think about him.
The chorus repeats the sentiment that even though the woman has come to terms with being alone, she still cherishes the memories she had with the man. She reminisces about the nights she waited for him and wished to see him. The lyrics suggest that the woman has accepted the reality that the man is no longer a part of her life, but she will always remember him fondly.

Twaggy Theatricks
@PUFFA FISH You might want to read my comment another time there, and I say that with genuine respect. I never stated it gave them a pass to cheat, for instance. Something that's understandable isn't something that's the right thing to do, it's just understandable.
That being said, no, I will not blame people (and specifically these two) for being unable to control their feelings during a monogamous relationship, for two reasons. 1: As stated, they are not easy to keep in check, especially since Ivy and Harley knew each other personally long before Kite-man was even there.
2: On top of that, both of them actually tried to make that Kite-shaped ship sail.
Now, if they hadn't, then yes, I would blame them. For, y'know, for being insensitive idiots.
However, also as stated, I can and will respect people who don't like the way they handled things, because it was both messy and hurtful. I simply don't blame people for having feelings, because for many of them, if they could stop feeling for someone else before/during/after a relationship, they really, really would.
Personally, I can tone down my hormones just fine. But I've long since learned that it doesn't come easy for everyone, depending on circumstances. And ohohooo, boy, do circumstances matter.
Just a Teapot
I have mixed feelings about this show. On one hand, it handles comedy spectacularly. Almost every joke it tells lands excellently. I also love the character designs and the way everyone’s powers are used to the max. And the fact that we get to see into the world of supervillains and watch them interact with superheroes when dealing with personal issues is something that has been done before, but it just adds that hint of realism that this show needs.
But honestly, there are so many problems with it as well. The animation is very stiff at times.
There are also so many double standards about this show that do not make sense, such as:
- The show presenting the narrative that the only reason the queen of fables was trapped inside a book was because she was a woman. Then a few episodes later Ivy tells us she is one of the only villains to genuinely belong in Arkham because she’s batshit insane and evil, which basically defeats the purpose of pointing out the “sexism” in her imprisonment when she took over the entirety of Gotham with her fables, and most likely murdered innocent people in the process for fun.
- The weird and kinda creepy bar mitzvah episode where Harley almost accepts people assuming a 13 year old boy fingered her. Also talking to and pressuring that same 13 year old boy about it in front of his family and friends when he was flustered about it. Then the fucking bizarre writing choice of making Ivy kiss a group of underage boys on the lips for comedy - and it was for comedy. It wasn’t a strategic writing choice that was integral to the episode. The writers could’ve easily made Ivy administer the antidote in any other way. The worst part is all of this paedophilic crap could’ve been strategically left out and the story would not have changed in the slightest.
- Why Harley tried erasing her original memory of her origin story in favour of rewriting it to something that didn’t even happen. I get what the writers were trying to do with it, but it doesn’t make sense logically. Yes, that is the origin story of how Harleen became Harley. Harley shouldn’t have tried to erase the past, and instead should’ve found acceptance within it and not let it define her. The message should’ve been that although she has horrible past memories with the joker, she still has so much time to make new, better memories where she can finally grow into her own person. But the erasure of that memory was such a bizarre writing choice.
Also, a few more problems with this show:
The comedy sometimes gets overbearing and cuts into integral emotional scenes. And the characters are... Interesting, to say the least. Truth be told, Harley’s “crew” have their own charming moments, but a lot of the time they fall flat and are not interesting to see on screen. Harley is toxic towards Ivy and seems to put a lot of unneeded stress on her. Ivy only put up with it as well since Harley was her first friend, which is not healthy at all. Also, she is toxic towards Kite man. The show and the supporters of it make it seem like Ivy is too good for Kite man and he’s a gigantic loser who lucked out with her, but it’s actually the opposite way around. The characters constantly demean and make fun of kite man in front of Ivy while she does nothing to defend him, and when she’s asked what she sees in him, she can’t even answer it without feeling ashamed. It’s probably also why it took her so long to tell Harley and everyone else (out loud) that she was dating him. Also, let’s not forget the fact that Ivy cheated on him three. Whole. Times. Why does everyone forget this in favour of acting like HE’S the worst out of the two? Because he’s mildly annoying? He’s too good for HER. Not the other way around. If the show runners wanted Ivy and Harley to get together, they should’ve thought of a better way to do it, since the love triangle trope never fucking works.

I adore the fact that Kite-man still wants to be a gentleman with bringing his lady flowers, but also being conscious of the fact that traditional bouquet of cut roses isn't Ivy's thing.
I'm sorry, but I ADORE that about Kite-man! Hell yeah!
BLUNT MUSTARDZ
Lol
Igarappappa
Someone did that once in the comics and she freaked out and ran around looking for some water to put them in. She didn't attack the guy or anything (honest mistake) but from how she was reacting you'd think it was a mom trying to treat a child's horrible injury.
Bubble Man
HELL YEAH
Tongi Finau
I adore...THAT AZZ 😘 🍑
Dragneel_ 17
Hell yeah
Toganium
Even if he's a complete loser, he's still so likable, and that's why I always enjoy scenes with him.

I suggest reading R and J war storyline he got a decent role and a great backstory.
danish
@Silent°Raven out of his league? Read the riddle and joke war storyline it isn't out of his league? lol, he literally team up with Batman and trick the Riddler and joker (just to add here Batman IQ is 192 and Riddler is 193) kite man had been given justice in the R and J war with proper storyline that actually make sense.
danish
He not a loser really lol, he and Batman has team up to trick the Riddler and joker when they're in war (the storyline is the riddle and joke war) he participated like 40-46+% at the trap.
