Everything You Do
Jeff Hanson Lyrics

Everything you say to me tonight
It's all alright
Here again in your time
Everywhere you go and what you say
You could have had it all in your own way
But all I can say is here and now all day
But there always seems to be some better time for you
where you are tonight
But there always seems to be some better time for you
I know you're right the best days turn to night then
go to where who'd know
Everything is all around again
I couldn't tell at all where this thing ends
All of this then leaving here to begin
The lyrics of Jeff Hanson's song Everything You Do convey a sense of unconditional love and acceptance. The singer of the song is expressing their love and admiration for someone who they see as perfect in every way, despite their flaws and imperfections. The repeated refrain of "Everything you do will turn out right, everything you say to me tonight, it's all alright" reinforces this message of acceptance and reinforces the idea that no matter what their loved one does or says, it will always be okay.
However, the song also conveys a sense of frustration, as the singer struggles to understand why their loved one always seems to be searching for something better. The lines, "But there always seems to be some better time for you, with the wind in the air on your back you don't care where you are tonight" suggest that the loved one is constantly striving for something more, and never content with what they have. Despite this frustration, the singer continues to love and accept their loved one without reservation.
Overall, the song is a poignant reminder of the power of unconditional love, and the importance of accepting the people we care about for who they truly are.
