In the summer of 2007 he became popular with his song 'Jij bent zo,' which is a cover of David Bisbal's 'Silencio.' Some months later his song 'Één wereld' was on top of the Dutch charts. His first album, called 'Vanderboom', will be released in 2008.
In April 2008 his first Dutch album 'Jij bent zo' was released. Within a week after the release this album reached the second place in the Dutch Album Top 40.
