All you little kiddies run along (brr, brr)

Uh, ya'll can kiss my derriere, woo

Up in the whip
Up in coupe yah yah (yah yah)

Gettin' money every different kinda way (different kinda way)

Drip drip drip drip drip drip drippin'

Look, something dripping from your mouth
Lemme undo your blouse
Take you straight to the clouds everyday you be flossing
Whole world be watching, gettin' bands with my mans I do this often
I be in office making major moves to cater to my boss type mood
All I ooze is swag
All I do's get the bag
My legacies forever never, just a fad
Talk jewels, cars, clothes, girls
There's some things you just can't buy with cash
Gangsta's to bankers, they anxious no patience
They want what I have
Can you blame 'em?
If they join me, I'll prolly chain 'em
Rolling with me shit is life changing
Rolling with me shit is life changing
How many millionaires under me
I own about four or five companies
I'ma be a billionaire prolly (yo)
Holla if you wanna join the Oddyssy (hello)
I'm the fuckin' sheriff of this wild Wild West
Hella connected do a wifi check
Take a shot of Soju and its bye bye stress (bye bye)
Question, am I drippy like swimsuit, yes (yes)

I be sippin' on that goose (goose)
Got you feelin' loose (loose)

Getting money every different kinda way (different kinda way)
Yeah yeah yeah yeah

Yeah so icy, at the tippy top
Hot like summer, call the plumber
Too much drippy drop (too much)

That's mandate

Drip drip drip drip drip drip drippin'

Drip drip drip drip drip drip drippin'
Drip drip drip drip drip drip drippin'

Overall Meaning

The song "Drip" by Jessi is a confident and bold anthem that celebrates individuality and success. The opening lines, "Drippin', drip, drip, drippin', drip, drip," serve as a repeated motif throughout the song, emphasizing the luxury and abundance of Jessi's lifestyle. The lyrics display her unapologetic attitude towards people who underestimate her, especially men. She claps back at haters who question her authenticity and her financial status, claiming that her money is legitimate and that she does not need anyone's validation. She boasts about her outfit being brand new and her diamond possessions being as bright as a "crip," a reference to the notorious street gang.

Jessi's verses are then followed by another rapper's verse, which only adds more confidence and braggadocio to the song. The lyrics here focus on how he is making big moves and changing lives because of his successful business ventures. He calls himself the "sheriff of this wild, Wild West," and claims to be connected to the highest levels of business and society. He also references his love of drinking, specifically Soju, a popular Korean alcohol, and how it helps him relieve stress.

The lyrics of "Drip" celebrate success and confidence, but also highlight the struggle and hard work it takes to attain them. Jessi and the other rapper take pride in their possessions and their achievements, but also acknowledge the challenges and obstacles that made it possible for them to reach their current status. Rather than being solely focused on shallow displays of wealth, "Drip" is an ode to personal strength and determination.

Jessi KNOWS what she is doing in this industry. Being in P Nation was the best thing for her creative freedom. I love that she paired with Jay Park on this because most know that they are BOTH from the US and have that in them and they embrace it. People who are hating on this video and her sound recently can keep hating. It's all engagement baby, she is KILLING IT!

Yep copying and imitating Black American music

@timmied8461

@@truthhurtz8517 I can certainly tell that Chanel W.C. is a big fan of Jessi! Don't get me wrong though, I really do dig CWC, But I Love Jessi! 💗
