From this life of mindless sin that compromises me
I recognize that my sin is empty and meaningless, and that it keeps me from the abundant life that You have promised.

There is a victory that You've won for me
I have faith that You have already won the battle against sin and death, and that I can claim victory through Your grace.

And when You come back again, I'll be free
I am looking forward to the day when You will return and fully redeem Your people, and I will be free to live with You in eternity.

Turn my eyes to Your face
I need to keep my focus on You, and seek Your guidance and wisdom in every aspect of my life.

Let me draw from Your strength
I recognize that I am weak and in need of Your constant strength and support to face the challenges of life.

And bathe in Your grace
I am grateful for Your endless mercy and forgiveness, and I need to immerse myself in Your grace to be able to extend it to others.

Let me soar with wings to win this race
I want to use the gifts and talents that You have given me to serve You and bring glory to Your name, and to run the race of life with perseverance.

Let me have Your peace it's not a hopeless chase
I am confident that Your peace is available to me, and that it is not a hopeless or futile pursuit.

I lose sight of all You have called me to be
I have a tendency to lose sight of Your calling on my life, and I need to constantly remind myself of Your purpose and plan for me.

And it takes so much to drop me to my knees
Sometimes it takes a difficult or painful experience to humble me and bring me to my knees before You, but I know it is necessary for my growth and transformation.

I know one day I will be free
I am confident that I will one day be free from the power of sin and death, and that I will live forever in Your presence.

There is a victory that You've won for me
I trust that You have already secured the victory over sin and death on my behalf, and that I can rest in Your finished work.

And when You come back again, I'll be free
I look forward to Your return, when You will fully restore and redeem Your creation, and I will be free to live with You forever.
