I love this upbeat song by Johnny Smith.  I used to have this album when I still owned the vinyl and I seem to remember that although Stan Getz was the TS on many of the songs, Paul Quinichette performed the sax solo on this cut.

Andrew Hulme

I just came across the acronym CAVU and was reminded of this tune. Apparently it's a term used by pilots (Johnny Smith was also a pilot) and means Clear And Visibility Unlimited.

Dan Rosati

Stan Getz is on tenor sax and not Paul Quinichette on this song and the whole album. I have the album and that is is the line-up. They all are Fantastic musicians including Paul Quinichette, but for me Stan Getz is one of the Greatest and for me only Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins, Joh Coltrane are better. I a m sure others haveyheir own opinions which are valid if that is what you like.

The album notes are wrong. The original jacket from Roost list Paul, Zoot and Stan.

Dan Rosati Paul played this tune and Zoot Sims also played some songs. Stan was not on all tracks. I remember the original production which was spread over a few weeks.
