This independant alternative/rock 5-piece has recently released their Ep “Lost in song” to rave reviews and record sales exceeding 1000.
3 weeks into the release they were selected as “Australian Myspace Artist of the Week” which had them featured on the main myspace home page, and also the Australian section of myspace. It resulted in over 4000 hits in 3 days, and a total of 50,000 to date.
They’re selling to all parts of Australia on Itunes, and internationally as well.
Taking influence from the likes of Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Coldplay and Snow Patrol, Jolan evoke emotion in listeners with their ambient sound scape and sometimes haunting imagery.

@suniis You're talking about Michael Caliman. Well, i'm not a friend of this competition thing like who's better and who's not. As a musician myself for over a decade i can tell you they both did a great job. Michael was closer to the original vibe and the tone of Terence. Really impressive performance. But Jolan, who's a big fan of prince, MJ and Jazz in general, took it to a more advanced level in terms of musicianship.
