This independant alternative/rock 5-piece has recently released their Ep “Lost in song” to rave reviews and record sales exceeding 1000.
3 weeks into the release they were selected as “Australian Myspace Artist of the Week” which had them featured on the main myspace home page, and also the Australian section of myspace. It resulted in over 4000 hits in 3 days, and a total of 50,000 to date.
They’re selling to all parts of Australia on Itunes, and internationally as well.
Taking influence from the likes of Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Coldplay and Snow Patrol, Jolan evoke emotion in listeners with their ambient sound scape and sometimes haunting imagery.

Jolan: You have a unique ability to sing the words in a way that makes the words carry exactly the meaning they should: You pause where you should pause, for just the right amount of time. You stress the syllables that should be stressed, with just the right emphasis. You sing a song like a great actor speaks his lines, so that no one has the slightest inkling you've said (or sang) them a thousand times from rote memory, but instead is convinced you're saying them for real, spontaneously, like you really mean them.
