Jonas Brothers Lyrics

There's a whale in the pool with my mother
And my dad paints the house different colors
Where would we be, if we couldn't dream
And I know we get a little crazy
And I know we get a little loud
And I know we're never gonna fake it
So call us freaks, but that's just the way we roll
You got moves, I've got shoes, let's go dancing
Pop and lock, battle dance (battle dance) against Hanson
If we lose all the girls they'll be laughing
Where would we be, if we couldn't dream
And I know we get a little crazy
And I know we get a little loud
And I know we're never gonna fake it
We are wild, we are free, we are more than you think
So call us freaks, but that's just the way we roll
'Cause we're old enough to know
We're never letting go
'Cause that's just the way we roll
'Cause I know we get a little crazy
And I know we get a little loud
And I know we're never gonna fake it
We are wild, we are free, we are more than you think
So call us freaks, but that's just the way we roll
And I know we get a little crazy
And I know we get a little loud
And I know we're never gonna fake it
We are wild, we are free, we are more than you think
So call us freaks, but that's just the way we roll
In "That's Just the Way We Roll," Jonas Brothers sing about embracing their unique and often quirky personalities. The song begins with the playful image of waking up on the roof with their brothers and finding a whale in the pool with their mother, highlighting the Brothers' undeniable creativity and imagination. They also mention their father painting the house in various colors, suggesting that their family environment is one that embraces individuality and isn't afraid to do things outside of the norm.
The chorus emphasizes the Jonas Brothers' confidence and rebellion against societal norms, expressing that they know they can get a little wild and crazy, but that's just who they are. They refuse to fake their personalities and instead choose to be true to their unique selves. The second verse features the Brothers challenging Hanson to a dance battle and jokingly accepting the potential consequences of losing all the girls to laughter. This verse further strengthens the theme of celebrating individuality, confidence, and not taking oneself too seriously.
Overall, "That's Just the Way We Roll" represents a fun and lighthearted anthem for embracing one's unique identity and not being afraid to stand out in a crowd.
