Jonas Brothers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'm so tired of reruns, the day goes on and on
So I pick up the phone, call everyone I know
Said there's gonna be a party, hit the music here we go
Yeah
[Chorus]
You gotta live to party, bust your move
Tell the DJ to play my song
Are you ready to rock and roll
We were out on the floor, yeah we danced the night away
Then she looked at her watch and said that it was late
Then she pulled me aside and said she couldn't stay
(I really got to go)
But I begged her for one more song, let the music play
Yeah
[Chorus]
I drove her home and then she whispered in my ear
The party doesn't have to end we can dance here
[Chorus: x4]
Live!
To!
Party!
The Jonas Brothers' song "Live To Party" is a fun and upbeat anthem about the joys of partying and celebrating life. The song starts with the singer feeling bored and wanting to do something exciting, so they decide to call up all their friends and have a party. The catchy chorus encourages everyone to let loose and "bust a move" on the dance floor, while the verses describe the singer's experience at the party, from dancing the night away to trying to convince a love interest to stay longer.
Overall, "Live To Party" sends a positive message about the importance of having fun, letting go of stress, and making the most of life's moments. The song's energetic melody and playful lyrics capture the youthful spirit of the Jonas Brothers and their desire to bring joy to their fans.
