In the first few lines of Jorge Vercillo's song Melhor Lugar, he expresses a reluctance to leave a certain place. He says that if it were up to him, he would stay, but outside everything has changed. Time has passed by like a madman, breaking all the windows, and yet the singer and his lover have remained alone on the island they have created for themselves. They have not gone anywhere, perhaps out of fear or laziness, and they are not even indicated on any radar. Despite this, they feel as though they are in the best place they could be.
