Boa noite
Ju Cassou Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Nada melhor que fazer sexo bem
Amansa a dor e amplifica o meu ardor
E posso ver a luz que há no fim do túnel
E quando vou tudo que há em mim
Muda onde há sol é chuva lua
Antes deserto agora multidão
Eu posso dizer navegar é preciso
E posso afirmar que viver é também
Eu posso calar eu posso sorrir
Mas quando chorar não ria de mim
O barco que leva toda ilusão é frágil
Precisa de toda atenção porque senão
Os sonhos ficam à deriva, água
Leva, lava, afoga, naufrágio,
Um viva para quem sobreviver
The lyrics of "Boa noite" by Ju Cassou talk about the healing power of sleep and sex. The first two lines of the song state that nothing is better than a good night's sleep or having good sex. Sleep and sex are two universal experiences that have the power to provide comfort and relief from physical and emotional pain. The next few lines suggest that these experiences can transcend one's current state of mind and lead to newfound clarity and hope. By allowing themselves to let go and be fully present in the moment, the singer can see light at the end of the tunnel and experience a shift in their perspective.
The following lines of the song provide further insight into the singer's personal journey towards self-discovery. They acknowledge the transient nature of life and the importance of living in the moment. The line "navegar é preciso" (sailing is necessary) is a reference to a famous poem by Fernando Pessoa and suggests that life is a journey that must be embraced. Similarly, the line "viver é também" (living is also) encourages listeners to find joy in everyday experiences.
The song concludes with a nod to the fragility of our dreams and the need to tend to them with care. The singer suggests that like a boat, our hopes and aspirations require constant attention, lest they be left adrift and ultimately destroyed. The final line "um viva para quem sobreviver" (a cheer for those who survive) acknowledges the many challenges inherent in life and celebrates those who persevere in the face of adversity.
