The Northern Norwegian band
Judith is a hybrid of four young men from Northern Norway with a different set of musical influences.
It is all rock - could be emo, could be stoner, or more popishlike rock - but the sound is all Judith. Will be avalible on last.fm by the end of 2006.
The American goth rock band
Christopher David made face with Requiem in White throughout the early '90s, making himself one of goth rock's rising stars around his native New York City. By 1995, he hooked up with bass player Damian James and drummer Brian Veit for a new project, a darkwave experimental group they called Judith. They made their debut that April at CBGB annual event, Night of Misanthropy, and Judith's first album Föhn was out by December. Since goth rock was still cult and fan-based throughout America, Judith challenged European audiences. Judith's infectious post-punk sound of lush choruses, heavy bass lines, and worldbeat percussion was strikingly similar to the likes of Die Krupps and Rosetta Stone. A deal with Neue Aesthetik was set by 1998 and Judith issued the beautiful chaos of La Reveuse. Monica Richards and William Faith of Faith & the Muse invited Judith to play the Blackout A.D. tour in 1999; this was Judith's first major tour of North America and dates in the U.K. and Germany followed the next summer. Having spent the latter '90s on the road and recording, David, James, and Veit took a well-deserved break before writing for a third album. Play of Light was issued in fall 2001.

Don't Forget to Say Goodbye
Judith Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
My love will always surround you
And every time you think of me
I'm with you
What's in my heart
And my soul
We'll stay here for eternity
Don't forget to say goodbye
‘Cause you never know, never know when it's your time
Say sorry to those you've hurt
It might be your last chance to say
Before you're taken away
Life is to short to regret
All the things you haven't done or said
When the reaper comes to gets you
There's nothing left to do
So live your life
And live it bright
So all your dreams may come true
That's you
Don't forget to say goodbye
‘Cause you never know, never know when it's your time
Say sorry to those you've hurt
It might be your last chance to say
Before you're taken away
When I die
You don't have to cry
My love will always surround you
And every time you think of me
I'm with you
The lyrics of Judith's song "Don't Forget to Say Goodbye" adequately encapsulate the message of the song. The song aims to remind people to cherish their loved ones, acknowledge their mistakes and regrets, and most importantly, live each day as if it is their last. The first stanza of the song speaks about the permanence of love even after physical death, urging people not to cry in the event of the death of a loved one. Instead, they should find solace in the fact that the love shared between them continues even in death. The second and third stanzas are cautionary reminders to people that life is short and unpredictable. It begs people to never miss a chance to mend a broken relationship or to apologize for hurting someone as the opportunity might never come again. The last stanza is a call to live fully, chase their dreams, and make the most of every moment, knowing that the memories they create and the love they share will last beyond their physical presence.
In summary, "Don't Forget to Say Goodbye" encourages listeners to live a life with no regrets, harbor no grudges, and to cherish every moment with their loved ones.
