Who knows you all?
Who loves you all?
In K.K.'s song My Heart, the lyrics describe the feeling of being overwhelmed with emotion when a loved one leans on you for support. The opening line, 너란 바람 불어와 (Neoran baram bureowa) translates to "When the wind of you blows against me," sets the tone for the vulnerability that is present throughout the song. As the loved one leans in, the singer's heart starts to speak to them, leading to a feeling of overwhelming excitement and trembling. These lines describe a feeling of being alive and open to the world.
The next lines, "Even if it's a midday dream, I won't stop, don't mind the world's confusing words," speak to the idea of staying true to oneself and trusting in the love that two people share. The singer feels that they will no longer hide or bury their feelings, and the idea is expressed in the line "I won't hold my breath anymore; my heart belongs only to me." The song's chorus emphasizes this idea, stating, "Even if it's a midday dream, I won't stop, don't mind the world's confusing words: my heart is all I have."
The last lines, "Who knows you all? Who loves you all? Even if it's a midday dream, I won't stop, don't mind the world's confusing words: my heart is all I have," underline the importance of having someone who knows and loves every bit of you, helping you to feel secure and confident.
