You Say
KIDZ BOP Kids Lyrics

Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low?
Remind me once again just who I am, because I need to know (ooh oh)
You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don't belong, oh You say I am Yours
What You say of me (I)
I believe
The only thing that matters now is everything You think of me
In You I find my worth, in You I find my identity, (ooh oh)
You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing
You say I am strong when I think I am weak
And You say I am held when I am falling short
When I don't belong, oh You say that I am Yours
And I believe (I), oh I believe (I)
What You say of me (I)
I believe (I)
The song "You Say" by KIDZ BOP Kids is an empowering and inspirational song that speaks to the struggles that many people face with self-worth and self-doubt. The lyrics convey a message of hope and encouragement, reminding the listener that they are loved, strong, and held even in their lowest moments. The singer discusses the battle with negative thoughts that try to bring them down, but ultimately chooses to believe in the positive things that they are told by someone they trust.
The opening verse is a powerful reflection of the negative thoughts that can plague our minds, causing us to question our own value and worth. When we're bombarded with lies and self-doubt, it's easy to feel like we're not enough. As the song continues, the singer expresses their belief in the affirmations that they are given. They find their worth and identity in the positive things that are said about them, and choose to let go of the negative thoughts that hold them back.
