Bloemen played in the comedian group 'Purper' and is often called a famous diva.
She made six personality show with her own 'La Bloemen Band' dancers, sings or just like in 'De Diva and De Divan' with Cor Bakker.
In the new theater season she will be on stage with a new show 'Overgang', without dancers, a band or Cor Bakker.
She has always been very open about her private life. She spoke in public about her incest past, the death of her sister, her pregnancies, her overweight and her burn-out.

In 1983 she received the Pisuisse Prijs, a price for students with the best theathre prestations within the Acedemy for Kleine Kunst (small art).
