Out on his own, he produced a series of highly ambitious disco records aimed at positioning him as an international star, but weighed down by the excesses of the era, Gyan saw his meteoric rise matched by an equally swift fall back into obscurity.

[Verse 1]
Baby,
Show me you’re mine
just give me a sign.
Standing in the shadows
just living a lie.
[Chorus]
I’m searching for a soulmate
to ride the disco scene.
I am the disco king,
come be my disco queen.
[Instrumental Interlude]
[Verse 2]
Now the night is coming
into the disco guy.
Give me your hand baby
’Cause you know how to survive.
[Chorus]
Searching for a soulmate
to ride the disco scene.
I am the disco king,
come be my disco queen.
[Instrumental Interlude]
