In her songs klea primarily writes about moving topics like failed love but also about fear of the future, depression, self-doubt, indecision and standstill. “I tend to find it easier to write about melancholy and thoughtful subjects. I think that in the end it is exactly these songs in which many people can find themselves and feel understood.
With her debut single “Uhren auf Anfang” the young artist presents herself with an autobiographical song that couldn't be more honest. So honest and intimate that at first it was difficult for her to play the song to anyone at all.
klea has developed her own unique sound and style and interprets her songs with her sensitive voice that gets under people's skin. And that's exactly what klea wants with her music: to touch people.
Under her real name Kim Leitinger, klea has already shown that she knows what it means to build a wide-reaching community. Since 2012 she has been uploading self-produced cover versions of well-known and less well-known songs - all interpreted in her unique "klea style" - on her YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/kleamusik).
With more than 50,000 subscribers today and over 5 million views on her videos, she was named “Newcomer of the Year” by the VideoDays jury. YouTube selected the young artist as a newcomer in 2017 for the internationally renowned YouTube NextUp program.
Whether at the VideoDays in Berlin, as support for the artist Alycia Marie on her Reflections Tour 2016 or at the Xmas party in the YouTube Space and at many other appearances: Kim knows how to touch people with her soulful voice and her authentic texts and also to cast a spell live. On her first major support tour for the artist “Körner” she was able to present her own songs live in front of a larger audience for the first time in November 2018. The great demand for the first tour EP was an indication of the interest in the newcomer's songs.
With her new artist name klea she sets the »clocks to the beginning« for a new chapter in her music and in her life.

DIOOOOOOS!!! Me llevó 19 años encontrar esta canción de nuevo desde que lo escuché por primera vez por ahí del 2002. Ahora en pleno año 2021 (y en plena pandemia ocasionada por el Coronavirus Covid-19), tengo 26 años y no saben la increíble nostalgia que siento, toda mi niñez esta en esta canción, TODA, y no hablo respecto a la letra, es más bien el hecho de todo lo que me hace recordar. Apenas tenía 7 años cuando la escuché por primera vez. Me viene a la mente absolutamente todos los recuerdos con mis hermano en casa :( cuando compartíamos la mesa todos juntitos :( y después del almuerzo nos íbamos a la escuela, yo apenas iba en segundo de primaria, ellos por ser unos años mayores que yo ya iban algo adelantados... es que no puedo parar de pensar en esa época y en todos esos momentos. Vaya, me ha revivido todos esos recuerdos. Poco a poco voy recordando todo.
Por alguna razón únicamente recordaba esta canción como "Jugo de pescado", y ahora me doy cuenta del por qué lo recordaba con ese nombre, la escena final me lo dice todo.
Saben cómo me siento? me siento pleno y en completa paz, siento como si mi alma descansara en completa armonía y como si los problemas no existieran... Siento algo que es realmente inexplicable...

Igualmente, tenia la misma edad que tu cuando veía estos videos que venían en los DVD pirata, mis papás me compraban un montón para entretenerme, de hecho me puesto a hacer una búsqueda de varios vídeos que veía a esa edad y este no le veía desde aquella vez porque no recordaba el nombre, este era uno de mis favoritos e imitada a la muñeca, yo también siento la misma sensación que tú cuando vuelvo a ver estos vídeos, es como si recordará lo que sentía en aquella época de mi niñez.
