Kygo started to learn to play the piano at age six through lessons. He decided to have a go at remixes and creating electronic music after discovering Avicii at age 15-16. After receiving over 80 million hits on YouTube and Soundcloud, Kygo was contacted by both Avicii and Chris Martin of Coldplay to create official remixes of one the artists' songs.
His remix of "I See Fire" entered Romania's Top 40 and remained there for 14 weeks, peaking at Number 2 as of June 3rd, 2014.
When creating/remixing music Kygo uses Logic Studio.
His track "It Ain't Me," with Selena Gomez, has exceeded 1 billion plays on Spotify.
He has an official site at https://www.kygomusic.com/ but at this moment it is about 5 years out of date. (In 2020 it refers to his "hotly anticipated album scheduled for 2015.")

Like melting ice on the sun
Why would I stop when I'm falling free
In a midnight daydream
Oh You watch me and I'm exposed
Like lightning bolts in my bones
In a midnight daydream
Midnight daydream
How quickly I come undone
Like melting ice on the sun
Why would I stop when I'm falling free
In a midnight daydream
You touch me and I'm explode
Like lightning bolts in my bones
Why would that stop when I'm falling free
Midnight daydream
The lyrics to Kygo's song Syn Cole depict a sense of losing control and letting go of inhibitions. The singer compares themselves to "melting ice on the sun," indicating a delicate state of being that is easily unraveled. However, instead of fighting against this feeling or trying to regain composure, they embrace it and continue to let themselves fall freely in a "midnight daydream." This dreamlike state may be a representation of a temporary escape from reality or a desire to live in the present moment without worrying about consequences or responsibilities.
The line "You touch me and I'm exposed like lightning bolts in my bones" also suggests vulnerability and a feeling of being exposed in front of someone else. This could represent a deeper emotional connection or vulnerability with another person that allows the singer to fully let go of their inhibitions without fear of judgment. The repetition of the chorus reinforces this idea of falling freely without any restraints or fear of consequence.
Overall, the lyrics to "Syn Cole" embody a sense of surrender and liberation, encouraging the listener to let go and allow themselves to fully experience the moment without holding back.
