These very first productions clearly show that multimediality was the preferred way of communicating of the band, enjoying the combination and dissociation of electro sounds, voice recording and 3D graphic art videos. This experiment draw the attention of the Italian TV channel Videomusic, at the time very sensitive to alternative sounds. The band took part to several telecasts. In 1992, L.I.N. turned up in all Italy with "The Fractal", produced by KLF Music/Discomagic and the 2 videos "Dd Sky" and "I See You".
In 1993, after lots of months spent in the studio, "Frames" was recorded. The album has its roots in L.I.N.'s discography and it's really appreciated by Adi Newton, inventor of Clock DVA, who let the Venetian banb play with the famous from Sheffield in some of their Italian performances.
L.I.N. then left KLF Music, joined sub/mission producer in Florence and cooperate with Paolo Favati and Maurizio Fasolo. Together with the 2 past members of Pankow, L.I.N. produced "00 Mind", containing a remix of Lassigue Bendthaus and featuring Marcello Michelotti by Neon (10) and the singles "Web" and "Subterminal" - remixed by Test Dept. CGD East West distributed them in Italy, SPV GmbH in Europe.
1999 was the turning point. After years of EBM experimentation, L.I.N. choose the pop way and recorded "La Folie" with Gianni Maroccolo, bass-guitar in "State Of The Art".
10 years later, L.I.N. went back to studios to revisit "00 Mind" and "The Fractal", plus several inedited sounds supported by short movies as background. The album was produced by Giorgio Ricci (3) and David Loop.
One of David Loop's latest passions is creating short movies with sampling images, a veiled and cinematographic evolution.

Give me light
Give me all of the bright
It will never be enough
Terminally ignite
Expiration in sight
My favorite delight
Is to see you fade away in the light
United then divided
It should occur
And a memory of you
Will be nothing but a blurr
Nothing more from you we ll endure
What use to be
What use to be
What use to be
What use to be
What use to be
In the end there s no friend
Nothing around the bend
Nothing there to contend
There s no way to pretend
There s no smile
There s no frown
No way to comprehend
No money lend
There s nothing you could spend
Not a trend not a fad
Belly up youre a slab
Youre nothing but a scab
Drying up shrivelled up
And turning into ash
Is what use to be glad
Is what use to be sad
Is what use to be mad
What use to be
What use to be
What use to be
What use to be
What use to be
The lyrics of L.I.N.'s song "Fracture" explore themes of disillusionment, decay, and the inevitable passing of time. The first verse begins with a plea for hope, light, and brightness, but acknowledges that no matter how much is given, it will never be enough. The imagery of being terminally ignited and expiration in sight suggests a feeling of impending death or ending. The singer finds delight in seeing someone fade away in the light, becoming one with the decomposing earth. This implies a desire for someone's downfall or demise, as if relishing in their eventual disappearance. The memory of this person will eventually become blurred, insignificant, and something that the singer and others will no longer endure.
The repetition of the phrase "What use to be" in the chorus emphasizes a sense of loss and the passing of time. It suggests that whatever once existed or had significance has now faded away. The singer acknowledges that in the end, there is no friendship, no hope, and nothing to look forward to. They perceive nothing around the bend and nothing worth contending with. There is no way to pretend or fake happiness or understanding. The absence of smiles, frowns, and comprehension highlights the emptiness and despair in their current state. There is also a lack of money or material possessions that could provide any comfort or distraction. The reference to being belly up as a slab and turning into ash further underscores the theme of decay and insignificance. The things that used to bring joy, sadness, or anger have all lost their meaning.
The repetition of "What use to be" in the chorus once again emphasizes the theme of loss and the passing of time. It reiterates that whatever was, no longer exists. It suggests the singer contemplating the past and reflecting on what once brought them happiness, sadness, or anger. However, those feelings have now vanished, leaving the singer feeling empty and detached. The mention of being glad, sad, or mad in the past emphasizes that these emotions have either faded away or transformed into something unrecognizable.
Overall, the lyrics of "Fracture" convey a sense of decay, disillusionment, and the passage of time. The singer feels disillusioned with the world and finds pleasure in witnessing the fading away of others. They confront the emptiness and lack of meaning in their own existence, noting that what once held significance no longer does. The repetition of "What use to be" serves as a reminder of the impermanence of everything and the inevitable fading of emotions and experiences.

All you need in terms of A& P info to understand this injury and it's sequelae. Clear descriptions with illustrative diagrams and radiographs. A master-class that even non-medical people can understand. Thank you. I am a nurse with one of these nasty and serious injuries. This helped enormously with my understanding of what I'm up against and with participation in care and healing. Thanks again. x
