Their musician also be heard on KPFK's radio programs '4 O'clock Tuesday' with Gustavo Arellano and ' Travel Tips For Aztlan' with Mark Torres. The band made an on-camera appearance on HBO's Emmy award-winning hit show Entourage; the episode also featured the songs "Chicle" and "El Farol". The band also held a two- week residence for the L.A. Philharmonic- sponsored children's show Summer Sounds, where they performed their songs and acted so as to educate the community of Los Angeles on their very own cultural treasures.

A trip, a trippin' on yesterday, oh again
Well I found myself walking over the edge
A trip, a trippin' on yesterday, oh again
I picked up my phone
I dialed your number
A click, a flash of hope
A damm of fear, oh so clear
As if years have passed
Since the days of lovely death and storm
Well I've never been content
With sharing a lover
I said I've never been content
But his was a light
That just wouldn't fade
Well I've never been content
With sharing a lover
I said I've never been content
But his was a light
That just wouldn't fade
How come you don't come around?
You just, you fade away
How come you don't come around?
You just fade away
How come you don't come around?
I've got so much to say
How come you don't come around?
The song "Jack" by La Santa Cecilia explores the singer's feelings of regret and longing for a lost love. The lyrics begin with the singer feeling as though they are on the edge, possibly feeling overwhelmed or unstable. The image of tripping on yesterday suggests that the singer is dwelling on past mistakes or memories.
The singer then reaches out to their lost love by dialing their number, with a mix of hope and fear. They describe the lover's voice as a calming presence, almost as if time has passed since they last spoke. However, the singer then admits to never being content with sharing a lover and feeling a sense of loss because their light wouldn't fade.
The repetition of "how come you don't come around?" highlights the singer's longing for their lost love's return and the desire to express their feelings. The song portrays the complexities of love and how past choices can continue to affect our present.
