I had an assignment where we had to compare the feeling of two versions of the same song for English class. And, I stupidly, choose this and the original. I thought it would be fun, instead I had to make up 3,000+ words of drivel about how this song is representative of the music industrial complex, the suppression of creativity under copyright law, and the importance of artistic freedom. I got a 100, but the only comment on my paper was, 'That was quite odd'.
