Lennon Sean Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The broken glass that fades
The past is a parade of countless days
Painting patterns in the sand

My motorcycle brain
Remains to be explained
It's like a summer rain
Pictures passing through a field
Blowing into the horizon

Watching the shadows on the wall
Tell me can you see my thoughts?
Watching the shadows on the wall
Have you seen it all before?

I need a friendly hand
Someone who'll understand me by the river bed
When there's nothing to be said anyways
It's all inside your head you know it.

Watching the shadows on the wall
Tell me can you see my thoughts?

Watching these shadows on the wall
Have you seen it all before?

Overall Meaning

The song "Home" by Lennon Sean explores the feeling of being lost in one's own mind and the need for understanding and companionship. The opening lines of the song, "The broken glass that fades, the past is a parade of countless days, painting patterns in the sand," suggest a sense of nostalgia and a reflection on past memories. The metaphor of broken glass that fades could signify the fragility of memories and how they are eventually forgotten over time. The imagery of painting patterns in the sand suggests the fleeting nature of life and how everything is temporary.

The lyrics, "My motorcycle brain remains to be explained, it's like a summer rain, pictures passing through a field, blowing into the horizon," convey a sense of confusion and chaos. The metaphor of a motorcycle brain suggests a fast-paced and unpredictable thought process that is difficult to explain. The comparison to a summer rain implies a sense of fleetingness and unpredictability. The pictures passing through a field can be seen as scattered thoughts and the blowing into the horizon could signify a lack of control over one's own mind.

The chorus of the song, "Watching the shadows on the wall, tell me can you see my thoughts? Watching the shadows on the wall, have you seen it all before?" highlights the need for validation and understanding from others. The shadows on the wall could represent the thoughts and memories that haunt the songwriter, and the question of whether others have experienced these same thoughts reinforces the sense of loneliness and isolation.

Overall, "Home" by Lennon Sean portrays the complexity of the human mind and the emotional struggles that come with it. The song emphasizes the importance of human connection and understanding to help navigate through these struggles.

Recordé, siendo una adolescente, media noche, mirando videos... Que nostalgia de aquella época.

Severely underrated album.

this guy is totally unique. He is obviously gifted...like his father in that respect, but with a voice of his own. he has a very compelling tone.

Siempre me he imaginado que así sonaría John si hubiese estado vivo en los 90s....Genial cancion

I remember when this first came out on MTV. God I'm old. But damn I was enamored with this song ever since then. So damn good.

I watched this on 120 when it dropped and I'm 39. Don't feel feel old brother just feel blessed.

Same --- and I'll be 37 this year. Vividly remember when I saw this video for the first time, and loved the song too ever since. Never realized it was Spike Jonze who directed it until recently, but that makes perfect sense. He also directed Pharcyde's "Drop", which was another iconic music video that I love.

I don't recall this song, when I was a lad of 17-18 years old when this tune came out. Did it get a lot of airplay of MTV or the radio? It sounds familiar, but a lot of late 90s alternative sounds similar to me. I only found out about it today from wikipedia.

i loved it back in the day on MTV2 Genetically Modified TV. I'm 43 now!
