Think of Me
Lesley Garrett Lyrics

Think of me
Think of me fondly
When we've said goodbye
Remember me
Once in a while
Please promise me you'll try
That once again you long
To take your heart back and be free
If you ever find a moment
Spare a thought for me
We never said our love was evergreen
Or as unchanging as the sea
But if you can still remember
Stop and think of me
Think of all the things we've shared and seen
Don't think about the way things might have been
Think of me
Think of me waking
Silent and resigned
Imagine me
Trying too hard
To put you from my mind
Recall those days
Look back on all those times
Think of the things we'll never do
There will never be a day
When I won't think of you
Raoul:
Can it be
Can it be Christine
Bravo!
Long ago
It seems so long ago
How young and innocent we were
She may not remember me
But I remember her
Christine:
Flowers fade
The fruits of summer fade
They have their seasons
So do we
But please promise me that sometimes
You will think of me
The lyrics of Lesley Garrett & Chris Corcoran's song, "Think of Me", are very emotive and packed with meaning. Essentially, the song is a plea for remembrance from someone who is about to say goodbye to their loved one. The singer appeals to their partner to think of them fondly after they have gone. The songwriter assumes that even though the relationship may have ended, there may be times when their former partner thinks of them, and they urge them to do so. The lyrics also showcase the singer’s attempt to move on from the relationship.
The song mentions how the heart can be fickle and sometimes desires to be free. It highlights the struggle between letting go of someone you love and moving on from a relationship. The two characters in the song are Christine and Raoul; Raoul realizes that he is still in love with Christine and congratulates her on her successful performance, while Christine sings about her love for Raoul and her hopes that he will remember her.
In conclusion, "Think of Me" is a powerful song that portrays the oftentimes difficult and challenging nature of relationships. The lyrics encourage the listener to reflect on the love they shared and to cherish the memories they have made together, even if they are no longer together.

It is an unaccompanied singing. I feel a tense tension, and I think love a little time. Even if it is a song without any change, I have the power to impress people. Depending on the listener's mind, it will be the finest finest possible. It would be that goose bumps stand up when I actually listen to live singing voice.
