F… Read Full Bio ↴Los Claxons is a Mexican rock band from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.
Formed by members Sánchez (vocals, guitar), Nacho (vocals, guitar) and Cholo (electric guitar) in 2002, the band didn't begin to perform formally until 2004. Pablo González (bass) joined the lineup late in 2005 and Cesareo became the band's permanent drummer in 2009.
Los Claxons released their first studio album, titled Sin ganga, under the independent Mexican label Movic Records in 2005. The band successively gathered fans by means of word of mouth and presence in social networks such as Myspace. Their fan base grew further in 2005 after presentations in several important Mexican cities and their performance in Monterrey as an opening act for Argentinian pop singer Diego Torres.
Following a redistribution of their debut album by Warner Music in 2006, Los Claxons released their second studio album En primera in September 2007. The album included 14 new tracks, including the band's first single Plan perfecto, which received substantial radio airplay in Mexico and was made available for free download on their label's website. In November 2008 Los Claxons opened for American pop-rock band Maroon 5 in concerts played in Guadalajara, Monterrey and Mexico City, which allowed them to further broaden their audience.
In 2009, Cesareo became the band's official drummer and the release of a third studio album was announced for later that year. A single titled Tal vez me estoy tomando el pelo was released in January 2010, with their eponymous third album Los Claxons finally being released on May 25, 2010. The album reached the top spot on the iTunes store in Mexico immediately upon its release.

mira como la carretera
se vuelve a enderezar
voy desplazando carros
y viejo pavimento
dejando atras
ciudad, mi miedo y dudas
que frenaban irla a buscar
se hace mas fácil respirar
el viento entre mi mano y algo mas
pensando volverte a ver
antes de que venga
quien tenga que llegar
debo llegar hasta los ángeles
volverla a oír cantar
antes de que llegue
lo que seguirá
siento que hoy
la carretera y yo somos un sinónimo
solo avanzar,
seguir la luz hasta llegar..
se hace mas fácil respirar
el viento pasa entre mi mano y algo mas
pensando que puedo
volverte a ver
antes de que venga
quien tenga que llegar
debo llegar hasta los ángeles
volverla a oír cantar
antes de que llegue
lo que seguirá
yo quiero volverte a ver
del tiempo no dependerá
antes de que venga
quien tenga que llegar
debo llegar hasta los ángeles
volverla a oír cantar
antes de que llegue
lo que seguirá
yo quiero volverte a ver
del tiempo no dependerá
mira como la carretera
se vuelve a enderezar
The lyrics to Los Claxons's song Los Ángeles describe a journey of a person who is leaving behind the fears and doubts of the city to travel to a destination, presumably Los Ángeles, where they hope to relive a moment with someone they love. The singer finds solace in the open road, feeling that the journey is a synonym for their own progress. The person muses about the ease of breathing in the fresh air while traveling and thinking about the possibility of reuniting with their loved one. The lyrics suggest that the person is hoping to arrive before an unknown event, represented by “lo que seguirá,” or “what follows” in English. Despite the impending uncertainty, the person feels optimistic about seeing their loved one again and that the timing is not an important factor.
