Corrido de ole
Los Inquietos Del Norte Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Tienes tu gente brava

Saludos pa' Chalo y Luiss
Pa' la gente pesada!

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Los Inquietos Del Norte's song "Corrido De Lupian" tell the story of Lupian, a man who was born into extreme poverty and didn't even have enough to eat. His brother became a tough guy and taught him how to survive and grow up in the terrible poverty that doesn't benefit anyone. Lupian was born in Merito Apatzingan, but as he grew up, he crossed over to the other side (the United States) where life smiled at him, and now everyone calls him "SENOR". The city of Sacramento once had him imprisoned, but now he tells us with a smile that he didn't let that bring him down. Money opens doors for you, even if they are made of steel.

The song also mentions his dangerous business, which doesn't scare him, even though he brings along those miserable drug traffickers who only know how to cause trouble and want to bother him, even if there's water there. Lupian's brother, Tony, is in prison because of a bad move he made in the city of Colima. Despite being locked up, he continues to do his deeds. The song ends with a greeting to the "malandrines" of March 18th, showing their loyalty to Apatzingan, Michoacan, and sending greetings to Chalo, Luiss, and the tough people.
